He Forgets Your Birthday 2- K.A

Recap: "As she looked through her drawers "move" she said I didn't "y/n...baby" I said she turned softly pushing me off "just go I need to think we'll talk tomorrow" she said I sighed kissed her cheek and left knowing I just fucked up a good ass relationship..........

Well tomorrow turned into the next day and those days turned into weeks that she was still ignoring me I was nothing without her she was the very reason I continued this career she pushed me to be better now look at what I did I fucked it up Bc I was only thinking about myself

I tried to get Ashley to help me talk to her but she was mad asf about it too but I knew she wasn't doing good either Ashley would tell me plus I barely seen her out anymore

"KEVIN GET YO ASS DOWN HERE" my mom yelled I groaned walking into the kitchen "ma'am" I said she was holding a paper in her hand "didn't I tell yo ass to go to the store earlier before I left" she said mad asf I shrugged "oh so u don't know" she said I really wasn't in the mood to hear her shit today "I forgot my bad" I said she tossed the paper at me "hurry yo ass up I need to make dinner" she demanded I rolled my eyes walking out "ROLL YA EYES AGAIN AND YA CLOTHES GONE BE ON THE FRONT PORCH" she threatened

I slammed the door I heard her yell something but it was muffled I got in my car and sped off to the neighborhood grocery mart thing I grab a cart  starting to look for the stuff on the list humming a song as I went through the isles

Y/N POV

Ashley finally dragged my crybaby ass out the house to go buy some snacks for our girls night I was irritated asf Bc I wanted to see kev so bad but what he did on my birthday I can't let that shit slide he know why it's so important to me and why I try to celebrate with everyone I love but he obviously didn't see it as a priority he could've skipped this one studio sesh all star would've understood but he didn't Bc he "forgot" so imma just leave that nigga alone

I was pushing the cart when Ashley jumped inside of it "HURRY PUSH ME" she yelled making me laugh I started running around thru the isle like a maniac I made a sharp turn and stopped as soon as I seen kev looking though the chip bags tryna decide I quickly turned and went to the next isle Ashley looked back at me with sad eyes getting out of the cart "if you wanna talk to him go y/n don't do this to yourself" she encouraged I just shook off the feeling I was having

"Nah I'm good I'll go grab the chips wait here" I said I put headphones in pulling my hood over my head I walked into the isle not paying any attention to him I couldn't decide what I wanted and I could feel him staring into my soul I heard him say my name unsure if it was me Bc my face was covered but I'm just gonna act like I can't hear nun so he left me alone plus I looked a mess and he didn't need to see he had an effect on my life

I grabbed hot Cheetos and went back to Ashley who had filled the cart we quickly checked out walking to the car idk how he got out here before us but he was packing the car up when "bitch" Ashley fake coughed I hit her "really Ashley" he said I turned to look back at him he smiled when he seen me "y/n....I" i interrupted him "come by mines in 10 so we can talk fr this time" I said he nodded I could tell he wanted to say more but didn't

"What you bouta say to him?" Ashley questioned I shrugged I def didn't plan to invite him over here I just kinda said it and now he is coming

We set up our pillows, blankets, and snacks flipping through Netflix to find a movie I heard the door bell ring I left Ashley to go get it i knew it was him I took a deep breath opening the door "umm hey" he said "hi...uh come in" I said moving to the side letting him enter I walked to the back room him following close behind it was so awkward to be around him alone again after so long "so what'd you wanna talk about?" He asked breaking the silence "us" I said "look y/n I'm sorry idk how many times I can say it" he said I nodded "you knew how much my birthday meant to me Bc of my dad Kevin and you went and forgot and tried to play it off" I said

"That shit ain't cool if I would've missed yours all hell would have broken loose" I said crossing my arms becoming irritated I'm even about to make up with him rn "I love you y/n missing your birthday was one of my worst mistakes" he said "I just need another chance I swear it'll never happen again" he pleaded I thought about it I don't know whether I wanna smack tf outta him or kiss him

"I believe you that you genuinely forgot just please don't let it happen again kev" I said stepping closer to him wrapping my arms around him he hugged me back "I promise baby" he assured me it felt good to be close to him again but I do forgive but I never forget I tried to pull back but he held me tight I chuckled "kev let go" I said he pulled back and pouting "no kiss?" He asked I playfully rolled my eyes and pecked his lips I heard clapping I turned seeing Ashley standing their with a grin on her face

"Finally damn ya was making the rest of us miserable over ya little fight" she laughed I shook my head chuckling we walked back into the living room to watch the movie I sat next to kev on the love seat cuddling into him
