I watch him smile and sit beside me on the bench, he put down three paper bags from his hands, on the pavement. Laito seemed to be more manly after years of not seeing each other, he seemed to be more professional and attractive. This moment is very blithe for us, the silence is enveloping us with a comfortable one, not awkwardly but with a warm and nostalgic one.
"Hey, you look more mature now." Laito said and gave a small glance to my face. I blushed and nodded my head.
"You too, you look more manly than before." I whispered.
"I didn't come here just for this you know, let's get it straight Akari, let's move on already." Laito said to her, pulling a folder from his bag.
"I know, I've been waiting for you to do this, I'm sorry. I don't have the courage to do this." I said and push away the tears behind my eyes.
"But still, thank you for the memories you gave me, Laito, thank you so much for staying beside me even in short amount of time." I muttered, the man in front of me smiled, not the flirty one but it's sincere and genuine.
I couldn't respond, I lose my breathe to response, I don't know what he's doing, Laito's the only man who only made me feel this kind of emotions inside my heart, maybe staying beside him is sehing that I've been craving for.
Even in just a short amount of time I would like to spend every ounce of it with him, I would like to stay beside him forever but maybe, not everything would go exactly with my plans.
I close my eyes as I let Laito embrace me.
