Chapter 2: Snooping and Missions

I've only got a few things to say this time. Quotation marks when used by Tyler will be what is written down on his whiteboard.
And also, I most likely won't do action sequences, because they just aren't my style. But I could at least try if someone actually wants me to do that.

Tyler wakes up in his new room with a sticky note attached to his face

Tyler: [Where am I... oh. Right.] Takes off sticky note and reads it

Tyler: [Come to the kitchen and I'll tell you what you can do to help me, huh. Alright, grate lady.]

He walks to the kitchen to see Marie waiting for the god damn coffee maker to work

Marie: Oh, hello Tyl-

...

Marie: Any reason why you're wearing nothing but your boxer shorts and your scarf?

Tyler shakes his head and walks over to the fridge

Marie: Um... okay. You can help yourself to whatever, except for that burger in the back. I'm saving that for
when Callie gets ba- she pauses and looks down

Tyler holds up the whiteboard Tyler: "Don't worry. I'm sure she's fine. And we'll find a way to get her back."

Marie: sighs I know, but it's not possible to not worry.

Tyler: "I understand" grabs a pint of ice cream

Understandably, Marie raises her eyebrows at this

Marie: You do you I guess... as you're eating your pint of ice cream, I'll brief you on what I need you to do.

Marie: Well... I need you to go on... a few missions to retrieve zapfish.

Tyler: "And what do these missions consist of?"

Marie: Fighting the octarians.

Tyler: "That, I can do. But I have a question. Did you really pick me off the street so I could fight in what are presumably life-or-death situations?"

Marie: Yes.

Tyler: "Good enough for me."

Marie: Okay. So, every... island? Outpost? Will have a set of stations with zapfish, and the very last will have a boss. Beat the boss to progress, it's all pretty simple and linear.

Tyler: "How many do you want me to do?"

Marie: As many as you are up to doing, but the sooner we get Callie and the Great Zapfish back the better.

Tyler: "Yesterday you mentioned that you 'agents' got gear and designations. What does that make me and where's my gear?"

Marie: You would be Agent Four. Your gear is in your closet.

Tyler nods

Marie: By the way, don't you have a house or something? When I told you you could take the extra room, it was out of courtesy. Didn't expect you to actually take it.

Tyler: "I texted a friend last night. He should be taking care of it."

Marie: Cool... anyway, we can get to doing that first mission whenever you're ready.

Tyler: "Aye aye, captain."

Tyler exits his room after changing into his gear, still wearing his scarf
