I always had a unique childhood with my twin sister. We were adopted by two demons named Helianthus and Lotus. They couldn't hide the facts they were demons because they were barely learning to be humans at the time. They were very different from your normal parents (obviously they're are demons Delilah! 🤦‍♀️), since they had a hard time transforming into humans, I never knew how real parents were. You can easily tell that they're not from this world! Everyday they changed their hair color, or the length, or even their genders! (Which was hard to hide when it came to parent conferences.) At home they were always practicing to be more human for us, I didn't care if they were demons, since they always treated us like their own kid and loved us like their own kid.
It was always hard for us knowing I was the oddball in school. Since growing up with demon parents we never knew a lot of common human things or their habits they had, since we were adopted at such an early age. Many things that set us apart was that we never ate with utensils, we were fluent with most the languages in the world, and that I didn't look like you average Joe. I had white hair and two different colored eyes while my twin sister looked like a angel. When I said I was different, demon parents were just one thing that set me apart from your normal everyday life. I always had to wear gloves outside my house sadly, my parents said it's for my safety, something along the lines of "your hands have a unique type of skin condition that causes other people to have server health problems." I learned the hard way of what that had meant and it was a "unfortunate gift," doctors had called it. I didn't want this gift but it was something that I had to take seriously at a very young age. Changing the subject... my sister went to overseas boarding school because of kids are very cruel and I remained in public school since my sister felt like a burden and didn't want me to change my lifestyle because of her. I was thankful enough though to make it to high school with 5 friends I made along the way.
My most best friend is Maximus, I met him in 2nd grade! He's the very first person to ever talk to me and has been there for me. He's very hot tempered and tends to get in a lot of fights because of me or just because they piss him off. 🙄 He's just a big pain in the butt. I later met my other two best friends and they made such an impact in my life as soon as we met! Meri, Amy and I had met in middle school, they just started talking to me out of no where when I was alone at lunch. I very much appreciated it because I never had girl friends and never knew how to be a girl but they helped me a lot with it! Meri is more of a independent type of girl who helped me learn about self-love and the importance of standing up for myself.  Amy was very pop punk and had been really good band stuff, so she taught me about fashion, bands and youtubers. It made me who I am today. Now there's Markus and Logan, my final two best friends, I met them my freshmen year at gym. Markus was very sporty and had so much energy! He is always pushing me to surpass my limits and never give up on hard obstacles which helped me get healthy and strong! Then there's Logan, he was the complete opposite with Markus. Logan was very popular with girls but he was very lazy and preferred the lazy way out *😂* he always told Markus, "someone needed his advice about some kind of sport thing" and Markus being the sportsman that he is, he would go running to find the nonexistent person. Then Logan and I will sit around and talk about life and how much we hated gym, but only liked it because of Markus *😊* Sadly that's all gonna change in two years. Things I thought I knew was not what it seemed. Everyone I thought I had known were someone completely different. Then there's my so called soulmate that I was "destined to be with."
