***This starts out just like the anime just with a different main protagonist - but it does eventually become it's own thing. GAH! Maybe it's not good, but I hope people love it all the same!

Walking up to the house, I could feel myself get nervous. I wasn't prepared to live with 12 other brothers. It just felt like a lot. A lot of...problems waiting to happen and not enough estrogen going around. I mean, would I still be able to take long hot and steamy bubble baths? Or would that be an "invitation" for torment?

The only thing I had going for me is that I have always been a bit of a "man" myself. I love sports and have a toughness about me that represses the more delicate and feminine side that most girls my age have. I knew this and I felt more reassured that I was this kind of a person at this time. I felt it gave me a better chance at being accepted as a "Bro" rather than a sweet sister-type figure. Plus, I hoped I would gain the guy's respect with my rough personality, but only time would tell.

As I turned the corner, I saw that the moving truck had already arrived and that two of my future brothers were helping to unload it. One of the brothers was much taller than the other one, and appeared as if he was at least thirty or so, while the much shorter one in stature was clearly not yet ten.

I took a deep breath and walked up to where my brothers stood, taking boxed packages out of the truck.

"Yo!" I said from behind them, as I waved one of my hands, "Um...."

The two brothers turned around and looked at me.

"Oh!" said the oldest, smiling at me gently, "You must be Ana, right?"

"Yes, that's me," I said, smiling at him nicely.

"It's nice to finally meet you," continued the older brother, "My name is Masaomi and this is Wataru. He's the youngest in our family while I'm the oldest."

"Oh," I said, looking them both over carefully while repeating their names in my head, "It's nice to meet you two!"

"It's nice to meet you, onee-chan!" said Wataru, smiling up at me.

"Likewise," I said smiling down at him.

"We're bringing your things into the house now," said Masaomi, "Why don't you make yourself at home while we bring in the remaining boxes?"

"Thank you," I said, as I made towards the door.

Okay, so that wasn't so bad, I thought to myself as I approached the door, They both seem nice and respectable, which is good.

I stepped inside the rather large house that stood before me. A pair of slippers were waiting for me, so I slipped them on. I didn't know my way around, so I wandered for a bit along the hallways and eventually found some stairs that led down to a kitchen and the main living area.

Inside the main living area, I found three more brothers. One had blonde hair and wore glasses while the other two looked very similar to each other but were also different.

"Ah, you must be Ana," said the young man with the glasses and blonde hair, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Ukyo, the second oldest son in the Asahina family. I'm also a lawyer."

"It's nice to meet you, Ukyo," I said bowing slightly, while smiling.

One of the remaining brothers in the room - the one with the stylish white hair - came up to me and gave me a hug. I was rather surprised.

"It's a 'nice to meet you' hug," he said, holding me tighter and then pulling away with a playful smile on his face.

I could only stare at him, dumbfounded, unable to find intelligent words to reply to his sudden gesture.
