They're both happy to be here. In this peaceful dream destination. Naglalaro sila ngayon ng habulan sa mga burol ng batanes. Mahangin, kaya feeling ni Ally ay gumagawa sila ng music video dahil sa palipad ng buhok nila.
"Let's film a video. Memories!!!" In-on ni Ally ang cam recorder habang tumatakbo nang paabante. He's facing the back, kaya nag-alala si Haven na baka masaktan si Ally.
It was a fine vacation in Batanes for Haven and Ally's senior high graduation's gift, until Haven tripped and rolled down the hill while trying to remind Ally to be careful.
Shit.
Natameme si Ally. Hindi ma-sink in sa kaniya ang nangyayari. Kani-kanina lang nireremind siya ni Haven na mag-iingat siya, but now he's rolling down the hill.
Agad na tumawag ng rescue team. Haven is covered with blood. You can't even see his skin, because he's covered with blood.
"It's either you find blood for him or he will die." The Doctor said.
"Doc, wala ho ba talagang mapag-kukunan ng dugo?" Umiiyak ang nanay ni Haven. Hindi niya na alam ang gagawin niya.
"I'm sorry, Misis. Naubos ang blood stocks namin nang dahil sa mga cancer and anemia patients namin. His blood type is O and he needs a blood transfusion as soon as possible. If hindi pa siya nasasalinan ng dugo within an hour, I'm sorry, but we can't save him..." Pagpapaliwanag ng Doctor.
Haven's mom is panicking.
She can't donate her blood, because hindi match ang blood type niya sa anak niya and Haven's Dad is an Overseas Filipino Worker so there's no way he could donate his type O blood to his son.
"Allysandra, I know. Nakakabaliw 'to, but can you please..." It was Haven's mom begging on her knees.
"Tita, hindi ko po alam ang blood type ko..." Ally is crying too. She just wanna escape the situation and run away from it.
"You're at least seventeen, right?" Umiling si Ally. She's still 16 and she's knowledgeable about blood donating stuffs and she must be at least 17 to do so.
"This is urgent... All we can do now is to test your blood type and if match ka sa kaniya, you'd donate your blood. This is all or nothing..." Sabi ng Doctor at hinayaan ni Ally na tangayin siya sa sitwasyon.
She's busy thinking how could a Doctor sacrifice a life while saving another life... She loves Haven, but that Doctor is just too desperate to save a life na hindi iniisip ang magiging risk ng isang buhay.
She won't be a Doctor. Hindi siya magiging ganitong klase ng manggagamot.Never. Hindi niya papangarapin na maging Doctor and will despise Doctors kagaya ng isang ito.
Bumalik muli ang sakit mula sa nakaraan, because Lucas triggered her heart and painful memories in it, kaya dumapo ang palad niya sa pisngi nito. Nasampal niya ito ng malakas.
"Wala kang karapatan na sabihan ako ng duwag, because wala kang alam sa napag-daanan ko and how I manage myself to live everyday!" Parang bombang sumabog si Ally sa galit. They're outside of a crowded café, but she doesn't care!
She's hurt by his words!
"I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... I didn't know." Ally plastered a fake forced smile.
"Next time, kahit hindi na sa akin, isipin mo muna 'yung sasabihin mo bago mo sabihin." Napayuko naman si Lucas.
"Sorry..." He then again said habang kitang kita sa mga mata nito kung gaano siya nagsisisi na nasabi niya ang mga salitang 'yon. He's always like this. Insensitive.
"But just so you know, don't overestimate me. Like you, I've been bullied too. Not because for what I look, but for what I am." He said while playing with his polo--- which Ally found it cute.
"If you think I'd say sorry, no. Don't even think about hearing one from me. I won't say sorry for the things I purposely did. I won't just do it next time." Ally took a step forward to Lucas who's now teary eyed looking at her.
"Being bullied by how you look and your physical appearance hurts, but being bullied by how I live my life is the worst." And tears fell from his eyes.
"Lucas, right?" Tumango naman ang binata, "Learn how to control your emotions, can you?" He seems so confused.
"How dare you make my heart skip beat in happiness for a second and make it hurt so bad after? You're that powerful to make me happy and hurt at the same time..." Ally said.
Parang nakalimutan niya ang proseso ng paghinga, dahil sa mga sinabi niya. Shit. Bakit ang dalang na nga lang niyang magkaroon ng kausap, ganoon pa ang sasabihin niya!?
She's doomed.
A fat ugly doomed.
