I gave up on attempting to fall asleep. It was impossible, with the memories of your constantly keeping me awake. It’s not fair. You told me all these lies, about how you loved me. You said you would be by my side no matter what. You would never leave me.
Fucking lying pig. You left me for that whore. You swore you were over her, yet now she has your heart. Asshole.
Now I’m stuck taking care of your son by myself. You said you would stay in his life, we would be a big happy family. Bullshit. You left me alone. You didn’t care that you were breaking my heart, or his heart. You only thought about your own selfish needs.
His crying turned into screeching, and I threw my cigarette onto the stone table I was sitting at.
‘Damn it, don’t you ever sleep?’ I shouted, as I walked towards Satan’s offspring. I couldn’t afford a crib for him, so he slept in my bed with me. I carefully picked him up off of the blanket he was laying on top of. I held him close to my chest, and cradled him gently.
‘Hush little Satan. Keep your mouth shut. Daddy walked out the door, and left mommy drunk.’ I sang to him quietly.
My head was spinning, and I could see colors rushing past me. It was like they were trying to tell me something, a secret message. I started laughing, as my mind suddenly went blank. My body felt cold. I needed you more than anything. I loved you.
