spinning; the space is spinning and in your head you're saying singing "swinging, swinging, swaying" and then you're falling and yet you're still singing saying asking "is this an absence or an abscess?" and you certainly aren't certain if this sensation is an absence or an abscess and the singeing and impinging of your teeth is stunning stunting as they slide solo cups into your slimy hands and they say to you "drink this" and the first sip the first swallow isn't so sickening until you realize you have acquired a charcoal smile and they say to you "finish it" and you're gulping and gulping but it's never gone because you're looking into the solo cup and it is stained and your face is stained and the charcoal smile is chained to your mouth.

they say, better a charcoal smile than a chalk outline.
