"Cheerleading might be fun." Manny agreed, linking arms with her upset friend 

"Fun? Manny, you're not thinking of trying out? You really want to become some Pom Pom pumping robot?" Emma asked, "I don't think Degrassi should have a spirit squad, period."

"Why don't you write an article about it?" Baby asked sarcastically, rolling her eyes as she and Manny walked away.

Sometimes, Emma Nelson doesn't take the time to look at the other side of things, and it really gets in Baby Roberts nerves. Emma may be on of her best friends, and she knew everyone had their fair share of flaws, but she found it incredibly rude to bash someone for something they enjoy doing.

BABY MADE HER WAY UPSTAIRS,           finally on schedule for her free period before her next class. She was hoping to study fro an upcoming text, but quickly became distracted by the usual incidents of her friends

This time, it happened to e the two boys she spotted, both of whom were shoving Pringles into their mouths. It was quiet disgusting, but intriguing at the same time, "What are you doing?"

"Trying to win a contest." JT spit out, attempting to keep the chips in his mouth

"Can I help?" She asked, "Because my first suggestion would be to just put the chips in a separate bag for later, instead of shoving them into your mouth."

"Only if you don't take any of the money." Toby agreed, ignoring the girl's logical suggestion 

"Sure, I don't care." Baby shrugged, deciding watching the boys make fools of themselves was better than studying

After they explained the contest to the girl, the trio moved to the cafeteria, where the hunted for the winning symbol at the bottom of endless Pringles cans. Apparently, the two boys thought they were going to win a million dollars, but the blonde thought their chances were pretty slim.

"Why don't you trust me?" JT asked Toby, referring to an earlier argument about who would be holding the Pringles cans

"I don't not trust you, I just want to make sure you didn't overlook the ace of clubs." Toby insisted, looking over JT's cans

"As if I'd overlook the ace of clubs." JT snapped

"You're right." Toby sighed

Liberty walked past the trio with a Pringle can in hand. The boys smirked at each other before pulling the blonde with them to jog after her. Baby reached her first, and turned her around to face their direction, "What?"

"Just came over to say hi." Toby smiled

"Okay, we want your chip can." Baby admitted, getting straight to the point

"Guys, what's going on?" She asked, confused about the bombarding from the three preteens 

"It's a contest. Get one can with the ace of spades and one with the ace of clubs, you win a million bucks." JT explained 

"We already have the ace of spades, and it's in a totally top secret hideout." Toby continued

"Yes, yes, very top secret." JT agreed
