Cain woke within one of the rooms of Jun's home. He held his head in bewilderment. "Had I dreamt that? Or did that all really happen?" Cain thought to himself. He glanced around the room noticing where he was, and quickly realized all that happened was true. A knock came to his door. He looked over as he saw the door opened and Maya was standing there with a look of irritation across her face. "Hello Cain." Karin said stepping from behind Maya. "Karin? What are you doing here?" Cain asked. "Looks like someone worked hard to forget yesterday's events. I wish I was able to, but when I find that bastard, he will get a piece of my mind." Maya said. "We were given the task of delivering the reaper scrolls. Maya is supposed to take us to them because she knows who they belong to." Karin said. "I know that one is my aunt, but I don't know who the other one is. Jun said something about the Istoric something." Cain said. "The Istoric Puternic. It's Romanian. It roughly translates to 'The Strongest in History.' It's a title that is given to the most powerful man and woman among the magical beings. Before the two of them the title belonged to my parents." Maya explained. "Wait, my aunt is that powerful?" Cain asked. "Don't be surprised, she is a very private person. Especially regarding her past endeavors." Maya said. "So, who are we headed to first?" Cain asked. "We're headed to her. She's closer and she knows the location of Lucian. Whereas, I do not. Walter did. He visited him more. And with me being without magic again, we would need her to send us to him." Maya said. "So, we'll give you a moment to get ready." Karin said as both turned to leave.
Cain stood from the bed and walked over to a mirror within the room. He noticed the ring hanging around his neck. He then removed the ring from his neck and from the chain it was on, to closely examine it. "Quite mesmerizing isn't it?" The Trickster said as he manifested behind him. "Yeah, something about it just feels I guess comforting you could say." Cain said. "I used to enjoy it because it reminded of father. I always felt like no matter where I would be, he would be there. That's why I never took it off." The trickster said. He then placed the ring onto his finger. A large tense feeling entered the room. The trickster then looked at himself in the mirror strangely. "What's wrong?" Cain asked. "Something is off. Something feels different. The trickster said as he walked over to the mirror and reached toward his reflection. He then touched the mirror and then glared at his hand in shock. "That's impossible." The Trickster said. "What is?" Cain asked. "I've been able to interact with things before, but I could never truly experience them ever since I was locked away. But suddenly, I can feel the air in the room. Smell the scent of the room. It's almost as if..." He said as he closed his eyes and held his hand open. His axe then appeared in his hand. "I'm tangible, but how? What did you just do?" The trickster said. "Nothing, I just put the ring on." Cain said. The trickster calmed down. "Remove the ring, quickly before someone realizes I am here." The Trickster said looking in his direction. Cain then removed the ring. The Trickster chuckled. "That cheeky bastard of a brother. He put some sort of enchantment on the ring. That allows me to exist as long as you're wearing it. So, you are in full control of my existence." The Trickster said. "But if he wanted locked away, why give us a key?" Cain asked. "Probably to mock me." He replied. "I doubt that, something about Luke's intentions isn't adding up. Because he didn't give you a way out, but he gave me a key. In case I wanted to let you out." Cain said. "Who knows, but for now. Let us keep this between the two of us. Clearly Aleksander was unaware of the ring's properties. So that means everyone else would as well." The Trickster said. "True." Cain said.
