Ataraxia
"A state of freedom from emotional disturbance or anxiety."

The breeze simpered with scents from the city; dust, noise and people. Sora scrunched her nose in distaste and continued walking fervently with no set destination in mind. The stars burned fiercely above her, they shone with all their might and Sora couldn't help but feel envy seeping into her bones.

She felt sub-standard.

What am I even doing with my life? she questioned. Life had come at her in full throttle and all she had done was grab onto its coat tails and hope she survives. She shouldn't merely be surviving; she wanted to thrive. She wanted to have a dream, she wanted to be so insanely passionate about something, that it filled her up with electricity.

What am I even doing with my life? The question repeated itself in her mind.

A loud thud followed by a series of low toned giggles rang out and Sora looked around to find herself in the middle of a forest clearing. Worry struck her, as a shadow seemed to grow on the forest floor and she quickly tried to fish into her bag for her phone.

"Shit, shit, shit", her hands desperate reached into the depths of her purse but to no avail, her phone was nowhere to be found. Adrenaline coursed through her veins as the footsteps came closer and close-

"Soraaa?" A husky tone laced with awe rose to her ears and she slowly turned her head as her eyes widened in recognition.

"Taehyung?"

Suddenly her body was being enveloped by his and his breath was hot on her neck. Lips ghosting over her skin, he then tightened his grasp around her waist.

"I missed you lots and lots and lots and lots-"

"Taehyung you're kind of crushing me here."

His hold loosened but his hands still lay on the sides of her waist. He stepped back to look at her properly before allowing a giggle to escape his lips.

"Oopsy daisy,"

Sora's lips tugged into a grin at the cute childish behaviour that the young man was exhibiting.

"You're drunk," she remarked; her words being a statement rather than a question.

"And you're pretty." A cheeky smile appeared on Taehyung's face.

Her heart tightened upon hearing his compliment but she knew it was only because of the alcohol that he'd said those words.

Thinking back to all those moments that had taken place between them it was quite clear to Sora that she had been firmly placed in the friendzone.

She couldn't help but mutter bitterly "You don't seem to think the same way when you're sober."

Taehyung's sharp hearing caught her words and his confusion caused a frown to form on his face.

"But you're pretty all the time," he said pouting.

"Sure okay," she replied wanting to move on from the subject, "Where do you live? It's late and you really shouldn't be wandering around lik-"
