Jungkook had been lying on his bed since he got home, just looking at the ceiling with a blank mind. He was feeling so tense, but unwilling to mull over the issue which caused him that state of mind. Eventually, the tension was cut off by a happy Tae who came whistling into the room, as the door was open, and dropped onto bed, next to the youngest. A smooth silence took power of the atmosphere until Tae murmured:
-What you thinking of?
-You. - he said in a whisper, in the voice of a lover.
-Well, I've just come in. - both of them laughed almost mutely.
-So... - He hesitated to try to say it. But he had made a promise, and he wasn't hopeful at finding other way to say it. – So I... met this girl... - Tae looked at him smirking, but with a serious look.
-You kidding. - The only answer he got was that sweet look of Jungkook and other smirk back. He felt like a little boy who, prideful, tells his most intimate friend, his biggest secret. Even though, up until recently, this relationship with Tae had been quite awkward and even a bit violent sometimes. – Where did you meet her? – He looked truly interested.
-At that café next to the karaoke. - He looked back up, getting lost in the line separating the blue of the wall and the lighting white in the ceiling. He sighed unnoticeably.
-Wao. Looks like you didn't mess it up. How was she?
-She was... pretty. - He said, lost in his thoughts or memories, it couldn't be guessed. Tae waited for him to say something else, but it looked like Jungkook wouldn't be presently.
-Pretty, then.
After a few seconds, the guy returned to reality and gazed at Tae with lively eyes.
-Beautiful. Amazingly beautiful. All I wanted was to kiss her. You can't even imagine.
-I can't?
-Too much beauty. – Tae looked back up. Jungkook did the same.
-What about her personality?
-I didn't get to know her much. She was just like... "Aren't you from BTS?" - said imitating a cute girl voice. Tae couldn't help but laugh – "I'm starting to listen to you, and you're all quite good. You really deserve this popularity... You're YoonGi, aren't you?" Well, I could just say "hell, no" – both laughed – I'm Jungkook. She was pretty shocked. – There was a short silence before Tae talked.
-She lied.
Jungkook glanced at V.
-What does this come from?
-Well, she just said that not to look like a needy-of-attention fangirl... Just saying. – He realized the absence of expression in the maknae face. – Don't you care?
-Well... - His voice underscored a clear answer: no.
-First time she tries flirting with you, first time she lies to you. If I were you, I'd distrust.
-She just tried her best for me not rejecting her. – He said sharply.
-... - Tae took a deep breath – Yeah...
The mood of the beginning had come again, indisposed to completely disappear.
If you liked it, give it a star, for now it's free.
For now.
