"The only thing I could say to you..."

"It's finally done," Dong Hyuck said. He heaved a sigh in relief. He didn't like sitting quietly for more than an hour hearing a welcoming lecture from the Chairman. It wasn't enjoyable once you've been attending the company for the second year. The inspirational speech was already heard for the first time. What was the point of hearing it a second time. "Easy for you to say. I have to meet Chairman Lee," she said, but she didn't change her composure. She stayed in a formal stance.

"Ah, Hwa-young is in trouble," he said in a teasing manner. "You don't know that," she replied back sharply. He shrugged. "Anyway, see you at lunch. It's really a shame that were not in the same group, though. We're under Tae Yong Hyung's division. You are in Changwon Min's group," he said shaking his head. He was still smiling. She scowled at him, "Yeah, yeah."

She was only like that with him.

"Anyway if you really didn't like the speech, then why clap? You gave an applause," she said looking at him in suspicion.

Dong-hyuck looked at her as if she were crazy, "Hwa-young."

"Yeah, what are going to say this time?" she said already knowing what would happen when he says her name like that. He leaned down to face her. Both didn't flinched.

"How can you say that? You should know by now, I clapped because it was finished. Not because I liked it," he said it in way that made it sound like a fact. They stayed like this for a brief moment, not necessarily glaring at each other. This lasted a second before they heard voices.

"Hwa-young? Dong-hyuck?" they heard someone call and immediately looked over there shoulders. Their confused looks turned into a happy one. "Glad to see the both of you still get along," they heard him say. Hwa-young bowed sightly and chuckled, "Mister Qian, I have no choice to get along with him."

"Is that so? I think it's comes to you naturally," Qian Kun said, smiling at his words. "Naturally? No, no... his very stressful to be with. Continually teasing me," Hwa-young responded with a scowl.

Kun laughed, "You say so, but your exactly the same!"

They spoke back and forth.

Dong Hyuck dreaded when Hwa-young spoke to Qian Kun. Or anyone who spoke a foreign language to him anyway. The reason being that he couldn't speak Chinese. Many of the employees in company were from varieties of places. The company took in many interns too, who ended up working here either way. Qian Kun was an example of an intern who ended up working here.

He was a senior in the company, but the new second years like himself loved to tease him. Not teasing him, but if you say calling him mother when he complained it is father, teasing him then, yes, teasing him.

"What are you talking about together there?" he asked, clearly irritated at their possible gossiping. Each person here only speaks one language or two. He was one of the majority that spoke only one language. Hwa-young was one of the few that could speak multiple languages and that is why most people would bother her to translate for them.
