Is something burning?
Why do i feel like i just got hit by an Appalachian avalanche?
Rough night?
Yeah sure. if I could remember... and that smell is really getting to me.
Alright bitch, recap time.
You were with the boys.
Then you weren't?
Where did you go honey?
An alley, behind a pub.
The pub, of course! you had a gig. Band was on fire for the whole ten of them.
Ugh - these damn small little towns never pan out well, but we need the money, right?
Besides at least they were a super friendly bunch.
Oi! You're sidetracking... back on point you!
Holy shit seriously! That SMELL!
Come on, open up you bitches! Momma wants to have a look-see...
She tries to will her eyes open, but for some reason they don't want to work with her.
She keeps trying though, even if all she manages to do is roll them around undercover like a mad trucker on a motorboat.
Oddly enough, the smell starts becoming a bit more identifiable, like pot-roast left in the oven too long, with a hint of coppery delight no less. It's quite a dominant smell actually, so strong in fact, that it sends tingles up her spine.
Wait. No. That can't be right? What smell does that?
This is more... like... they are two separate things?
The smell and then the sensation, which is starting to feel a bit more prickly now.
Perk to becoming aware of something hey? Fixation.
Oh, wait! There's more!
Some kind of a sound. Like a vibrant hum or something?
No. No. Not quite a hum. It's more like.... hm... static?
No. Also not exactly... Shit i hate these games.
I spy with my left nut something swinging on the right... Oh hey little nut-bag it's you! My faulty dangling twin!
Shhh... You're going to upset him. Oh! Oh! That's it! It's a SHHHHHHHHHH sound... a hiss!
The hissing sound with the strangest crackling undertone now identified, she starts regaining control over a little bit more of her consciousness.
The moment she can see what is going on she might be better at figuring out what the hell is actually going on here, because the more awake she becomes, the more that annoying tone starts evolving into an almost ear-bursting screech.
As for that feeling? Well it certainly isn't a Marvin Gaye or Lionel Richie romper. That has been made very clear. This dull sensation is starting to creep up from a determinable point of origin. Through her left knee, upwards right to her neural interceptors frantically decoding the Morse-code pumping through her body.
This intensifying sensation is starting to feel like a very unnatural situation.
An incessant onslaught of bee-stings with spiders crawling nonchalantly over the spreading area.
