Chapter 35: Good Looking

•Annie's Pov•
So Joey picked a scary movie, I hate scary movies but I'll see how it goes.
Joey followed me into the kitchen while I go to make popcorn.
As I'm waiting for the popcorn to be done, Joey's arms wrap around my waist, I look up as he looks down at me.
"hey" he softly said
"hiii" i looked up at him.
joey begins swaying side to side as he holds me in his arms.
as we're swaying, joey gently places a kiss on my lips.
"wanna go on a date tomorrow night?" he whispers into my ear and i nod.
i put the popcorn in two bowls and give one to hayley.
joey and i go and sit on the couch and get comfortable.
we press play on the movie.
you always know when the worst thing is going to happen in the horror movie because the music always seems to get creepier and creepier.
pftt but i'm not scared.
i look over at hayley and noah, hayley's sleeping and noah's just stroking her hair gently.
i smiled as i noticed hayley's head was buried into his chest.
the screen went pitch black.
i screamed and jumped into joey's arms, shaking as i hid my head under his shirt.
ooh, he's got abs. good lookin abs.
i smiled to myself, they were really good looking abs. like really good looking.
like mother fucking good looking abs.
like i was obsessed with them good looking abs, but like i'm not obsessed with them or anything.
"annieeeee?" joey whispered.
"what?" i asked, shakily.
"it's alright now. come on out"
"i actually like it down here, i'd rather stay here"
"okay then"
i smirked to myself as i slid my head on joey's chest and up through his shirt hole.
"hellooo" i cheekily said as i popped through.
"you scared me!" joey says, laughing.
"hey kiddos" my father said as he came home from work.
"hey daddy" i smiled.
joey tugged my arm and playfully frowned.
"i thought i was your daddy" he said quietly, with a playful smirk.
"get your head out of the gutter" i said, giggling.
"hey, anns i probably should head home. i'll pick you up for school tomorrow at 8. see you tomorrow, beautiful" joey kissed my forehead as i waved him off.
"bye joey" i smiled softly.
i heard a knock at the door and a pizza guy was holding two boxes of pizza.
"one second" i said softly as i shouted.
"who ordered pizza?"
"i did! pay for me please, anns. i'll fix you up later" my mom shouted from upstairs.
i put my hand in my back pocket and pulled out a twenty.
"here, keep the change" i handed it to the young boy.
"thank you so much. have a lovely night!" he smiled and bowed his head in thanks.
"you too" i said as i closed the door.
