Vienna Belmis was the princess of a crumbling kingdom- Newedge. With her parents no longer alive to rule, and Vienna being the only child, the position of ruler was snatched away by the governor, until Vienna turned eighteen. However, the kingdom is slowly rotting away in the hands of a heartless ruler, and it soon became one that was filled with poverty-stricken citizens. Vienna was prepared to succeed the throne when she was of age, and to face the tough challenges up ahead. What she didn't expect was to get kidnapped and whisked away on a horse to another kingdom. With her kingdom in the hands of a cruel monster, Vienna is willing to do anything in her power to save her people, even if it meant dealing with the most powerful and feared king of all, Favian Wraith. She would have to settle for something much different from a sweet fairytale, for Vienna wasn't born to be a princess. She was born to be a queen.

Update- have you guys ever read The Ghost Bird series?? Well you freaking should oh my gosh I swear I'll murder someone before the next book comes of the tension and suspense is killing me. Mr. Blackbourne marry me PLEASE.

Gah and the ROMANCE. Also there's a spinoff called The Scarab Beetle which is also pretty good holy crap.
