I'm sitting in my room in the training hall of Geumchae-do, South Jangda. It's like any other day of training since I arrived here. My room is pretty small and compact, theres three windows (one beside the bed, one in front of the kitchen sink, and one in the bathroom), a small kitchen that I can barely cook in, and a living room that's connected to the bedroom. I have had this place all to myself for about nine years now and I honestly feel like I should be moved to a place that has more space; and possibly more people.
<THAT NIGHT>
I get out of bed to get something to eat. As soon as I closed the tiny fridge I have, I see a bright pink flash outside.
(What was that?)
I make my way to my window where I immediately see a girl in a black and pink dress, black boots, and a long rosy colored jacket on. She seems to be in combat with someone of the guard brigade of the province. Not even a second after combat took place, the guard was on the ground, seeming to be dead. Moments after the guard went down, more guards show up. The girl takes all the guards down with no hassle and no signs of struggle. Right after she took the guards down, she looks in my direction.
(Shit... She sees me.)
I see her jump up and I lost sight of her. But right when I turned around to get food, the girl I just saw outside was standing right in front of me, her hood still over her head so that her face couldn't be seen. she takes her hood off of her head, looking at me. We stared at each other for a few seconds before she stated to speak to me.
"You seem to be he curious type." She pauses for a moment, looking into my eyes, "You also seem to be tired of this worn down training hall."
(Wow~ shes good at reading people!)
"How would you like to be in another place? For say... A place much more spacey than this."
She runs a finger across the top of my fridge, getting dirt on her finger.
(She knows what I'm thinking... Wow~ But... How is she gonna get me out of here if she isn't an official leader of a league or a team of an organization?)
"Umm, I'd love to get out of here. But, how are you gonna get me out of here without anyone getting on your case about this?" I question her,
"That'll be no problem to me~" She fixes her jacket while looking into the mirror by the kitchen, "I know people."
Right as she made eye contact with me again, chills were sent down my spine. She smiles at me, most likely noticing my slight shiver.
"So...Umm, what's your name? You didn't really uh, introduce yourself when you came in."
We make eye contact again as she gives me a smile again. She then turns to me, taking a couple steps closer to me.
"Ahh, I apologize for being impolite... I'm Palja*, Daechi's most prized operative."
*Pal referring to the number 8 (also a sign of infinite life in chinese culture) Ja referring to the korean word for girl (yeoja)*
(Palja! She's the so called girl with infinite abilities!)
I bow to show respect for the most powerful person in the operative world. She tells me that I don't have to bow down to her as she lifts my chin, locking eyes with me. She then taps her temple as glasses appear over her eyes.
"Looks like they're calling me back for work." She looks at me again before walking over to my window, "I'll come back sometime. So, you should keep an eye out for me."
She leaves me with those words. I look out the window to see nothing but air.
(It's insane that I actually got the chance to talk to THE ONE AND ONLY Palja! She's so mysterious yet... She seems to be caring toward others. I can't wait to get out of here.)
