Damon and Ada are in the study, he has gotten the young Salvatore sister to forgive him. The two are reading through Emily Bennett's grimoire. Stefan enters the room, looking anxious.
"Anna took Elena." Stefan days, and Ada's attention snaps towards him.
"Yeah, I got that from your 600 voicemails." Damon replies.
Stefan strides across the room, towards Damon and Ada. "Damon, all night long, every single street in town, I've been searching. What if your blood hasn't passed out of her system?"
"Well, then at least you know you'll see her again." Damon replies.
"Please." Stefan says as he sits on the other side of Damon on the couch.
"I'll help." Ada says and Damon gives her a look. "Don't give me that look. Elena's still my friend. She didn't betray me."
Stefan looks thankful.

Stefan's phone rings and he sits by Ada, so she can hear.
"Elena?" he says into the speaker. "Are you okay?"
"She's fine, for now." Anna's voice says. "Tell me you have the grimoire and she'll stay fine."
Damon enters the room, and he leans against the door of the study. He eyes Ada and the phone in Stefan's hand.
"I can get it." Stefan claims.
"Which means your brother has it." Anna says. "And I have the witch. So one of you, or the sister, had better meet me in the very public town square in 30 minutes sober can safely discuss how fun it's gonna be to work together." Anna hangs up after saying that.
Stefan hangs up, too, and looks up at Damon.
"Go ahead, grovel again." Damon says. "Ah, wait no.... I don't care." And he leaves the room.

Ada kicks in the hotel room door with Stefan beside her
Ben, a vampire companion of Anna, screams and he hides as Stefan rips the curtains down, bringing in more sunlight.
"Stefan! Ada!" Elena exclaims.
Ada grabs Bonnie, who looks beyond relieved to see Ada. "Let's go."
"Thank god, Ada." Bonnie hugs her exam girlfriend whom she still loves when they are outside the hotel room. "Thank god you're here."
"Of course." Ada replies. "Anything for you."
Sheila invites Ada and Stefan in. Bonnie makes Ada sit with her and Sheila so she will feel safe.
"How did you know where we were?" Bonnie asks her Grams.
"Many things can fuel a witch's power." Sheila replies. "Worry. Anger. After Stefan and Ada too me they had taken you, I had a lot of both. Simple located spell was easy after that."
"I'm sorry." Bonnie says. "About all of this."
Sheila smirks. "Not as sorry as they're gonna be."
