chapter 13

                                   *Jem*

"Morning Will, how are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, where's Tessa?"

"She's asleep still, it's not even six a.m. yet."

"Oh," he whispers. "I'm going to go back to bed for a while then." He pauses for a second. "So what time is it anyway?"

"four thirty-five."

"By the Angel, that's entirely too early, I need my beauty sleep, don't let me sleep past noon."

"I won't," I say, looking at him.  "Get some sleep, you need it, these have been a crazy few days for all of us."

"Okay, goodnight, for now at least."

"Goodnight William."

Will is still sleeping six hours later, Tessa is awake and making coffee and waffles, not the frozen ones either. It all smells amazing. Will stirs then sits up.

"Something smells great! Is Tessa making coffee?"

"And homemade waffles," she chimes in. "Which, by the way, are done." She brings a plate and ceramic coffee mug in and hands it to Will.

"Breakfast in bed? Man I'm loving the married life."

"You're welcome." She says, smiling. She gets my breakfast next, then her own. We sit in front of the tv and eat.

.                             *Will*

"This is amazing Tess." I say.

"Yeah, it is pretty good." Jem responds.

"More coffee anyone? Waffles?"

"I'm good, thank you." I  say

"Me, too." Jem says.  

"Here, give me those dishes, I can take care of them."

"Thank you Will, that's very sweet of you."

"Anything for you , my darling."

"You are so charming, you know that?" She kisses my forehead.

"So I've heard." I say, smiling.

"You're adorable."

"Heard that one too." I laugh. "I love you Tess."

"I love you too, I always will."
