Click, click, click
The door to the backstage entrance opened up. The person who opened it up slipped inside, and swiftly but softly closed the door behind them. It was dark, but they didn't mind it.
They slipped out a shiny silver pen. There was a light clicker on it that made a small hint of light. No time to turn the actual stage lights on. They walked over to the stage, but stayed behind the curtains.
There was a stand with a paper in the center of the stage. It was a stack of audition forms for the school play. The person swiftly snatched the papers off of the stand. They skimmed and analyzed each form, sometimes even making markings on the forms with their pen.
"Out of all the loser, lovers, and liars who turned in these forms, only one of them will be the same after the final scene."
The auditorium door opened. The lights flickered right on. With a jolt, the person placed the papers back onto the stand, and ran off, out from the back door, without any trace.
Well, except for their shiny silver pen...
