Q: sigh let's just do this tutorial already.
R: Well then, summoning your weapons is simple, all you need to do is--
Q: Holding two butterfly knives DONE IT!
R: uhhh... how did you do that?
Q: I don't do tutorials, I button mash to find everything.
R: but this game doesn't have a controller.
Q: I know, but I just did something and the knives appeared
L: wearing giant gauntlets Good idea Quinn.
Q: Niiiiiiicccccccccceeeeeeeeeee...
S: holding a rapier got it.
R: I suddenly feel really useless.
J: yea i have no idea what to do.
Q: BUTTON MASH!
J: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BUTTON MASH!?
R: Sighs all you need to do is focus on what you want, picture the crossbow.
J: alright.. let's see..
Q: IF IT DOESN'T WORK, JUST BUTTON MASH!
R: Ignore him. focus on summoning the weapon.
L: I THINK I BROKE THE WALL.
R: That's a visual effect Luke!
L: makes sense..
J: There are too many distractions.
R: alright, let's try this again later. I am needed with these three.
J: sighs Fine. I'll keep trying
Q: mouths "BUTTON MASH" to Jaiden
R: Shut it Quinn It doesn't work.
Q: worked with us three.
R: It was a fluke. anyway, lets practice fighting.
Q: I don't want to fight you.
R: Not me Idiot. my Holograms.
Q: Ohhhhhh
L: R slash Face palm
Q: Did you just sub-reddit me?
L: Damn straight.
Q: I feel so Violated.
L: I know. I get that a lot.
Q: I'll get you back someday
L: Sure you will.
R: a little uncomfortable anyways, I will summon some holographic hostiles for you to test your skills in combat.
S: Bring them on.
Roxanne summons 3 holograms of robots, each holding a broadsword.
the first to fight is Luke, The Robot attacks first but Luke grabs the sword with his gauntlets and kicks the robot back, disarming it, he then takes the sword and throws it into the robot's head, and the hologram dissipates.
Next to fight is Savannah, their skills are evenly matched, each blocking every attack the other dishes out, so she decides to try something, she uses an attack to get close to the robot, then kicks it's leg, moving it and making the robot lose balance slightly, she then takes that moment to slice through it's other leg, making the robot fall, dropping the sword and leaving it defenceless. Before it can get up she slices it through the chest, dissipating it.
Last to fight is Quinn, He makes it quick and disarms the robot in a single, swift motion, making it fly into the wall, barely missing Luke, barely reacting. With the robot disarmed, Quinn Stabs the robot once in the stomach and another time in the neck, then rips the knives out along with the power source and main circuits and the final hologram dissipates.
L: that almost made 2 deaths for me.
Q: sorry 'bout that.
L: It's cool.
R: Only because we were in here.
J: Wait, w-what do you mean?
R: I mean that, as soon as we leave here and go into the game, regeneration is disabled, you have one life, you die and you return to the normal world.
L: I mean it's not like we die in real life though right?
R: True, but it is highly recommended to keep your entire team alive.
Q: makes a lot of sense.
L: yea, it's always useful to even the odds in a fight.
R: well, I think we're ready to proceed into the game.
L: yea, I think we are
J: I could learn everything on the job, don't worry.
L: really?
J: Yea, Totally.
R: well, with that, we can move on.
the five walk over to the other side of the room from that they entered and a door opens into a smaller, darker room, with nothing but a portal in the middle of it
S: Whoa.
L: Now We're thinking with portals.
Q: Portal reference?
L: yep.
Q: Nice.
R: portals aren't a common game mechanic, this may be the only one you will see
the four walk into the room
R: I must stay here for a while, don't worry, I always know where you are, just as you know where each other are too.
L: ok, lets go guys. J: you better be back.
R: Don't worry, I will.
The 4 go through the portal, and when they appear they see; in the east, a forest; in the west is an ocean, or at least a very large lake; south is a cliff, going up; and north are foothills. They look up and it says
"Yellow Team Has Joined"
Cut to darkness, a light from what seems to be some kind of screen turns on and the sound of footsteps approach, and Roxanne appears from the darkness and faces the light
R: you have some explaining to do.
