It's January 15th cause why not
I get ready and then walk in my living room to leave
When I walk in the living room almost all the boys are sitting on the couch. I look around for Ryan and I don't see him.
"Um, where's Ryan?"
"Zach's talking to him" Jonah answers oops I just realized Zach's brothers name is Ryan
"Why?"
"Who knows. He just said he wanted to talk to him so that's what he's doing."
"Oh well um we have to go now"
"We have to wait for Zach to be done"
"Well can he be done now I can't be late"
"Go find him"
I leave the room and try to find them
I go near my room and hear talking
I peak in and Zach is pointing at my bed
"That's where I slept two nights ago as she cried in my arms about the dickhead. Now if you are ever the dickhead that causes her to cry in my arms you will be dead"
"We aren't dating though. We just met"
"Don't lie. I saw what happened in the kitchen. You comforting her as she cried and then after as she was still in her vulnerable state, you were going to take advantage of her sadness and make a move on her."
"I-i wasn't I promise"
"Oh, but you were. Just know I won't let it happen. So if you feel any way about her, it better stop immediately."
"Okay"
They start leaving the room and I quickly run down the stairs

Jonah drops us off at the field and we walk out
"So what did Zach talk to you about," I ask him as we walk out on the field
Ryan has to introduce himself to both teams today so I walk with him to do that
"Nothing," he says looking out onto the field
"Are you sure"
"Yup"
"Okay" we continue walking and as we get to where everyone is Maya runs over to us with Cam
"Omg, you must be Ryan. Coaches nephew so nice to meet you. Wow you're cuter than I expected" she winks and I want to choke myself
"Thanks?" He says
"I'm Maya the girls' captain. Your aunt loves me"
"She's never talked about you before"
I almost laugh but stop myself
Cam comes up to him and shakes his hand
"I'm Cameron-"
"Boys captain yeah I've heard of you"
"Oh-"
"I'm just going to be straight forward I don't really like you"
"Oh why not"
"I just don't appreciate guys who cheat but maybe that's just me."
"Woah that's a big assumption for just meeting me. I'd never cheat on someone"
Did he just-
Hold up-
Wait a minute-
This time I do laugh
"Why are you laughing," Cam says to me
"Oh it's just what you just said is really funny"
"Why"
"Cause you'd 'never cheat on someone' it's just funny to me that you say you would never do that but you did and twice"
"Can we not do this right now"
"Sure. We can just pretend it never ever happened so you can feel good about yourself." I say full of sarcasm
"But please just let me know when we can do this so I can make you feel just as shitty as I have been feeling ever since I found out you were her ex" I walk away to the sidelines and throw my bag down, sitting down, after putting my head in my hands
Ryan runs up to me and sits down
"You okay?"
"Yeah, he's just annoying me. he can't even admit what he did. Like be a man and own up to your mistakes"
"I told you he's a bitch"
"Yeah but he doesn't have to make me feel even worse about everything"
"Listen he's not worth your time. Guys like that don't deserve girls like you to even waste a breath or tear on them"
"Girls like me?"
"Yeah you know, the pretty, smart, nice, amazing girls. Anyone would be lucky to have you and trust me when you find someone new he'll never want to lose you"
"I just want to be done with caring about him. Why can't I get over him as fast as he got over me"
"You can't get over him until there's someone new. He has Maya as his someone new so he got over you because he has her. You don't have someone right now so you can't. But I promise once you get someone you'll get over him"
"But I can't get someone new if I'm still stuck on my someone old"
"Well I can't help you with that but I promise you will get over him and it will probably be sooner than later"
"Thank you"
"Of course. You're my best friend already" he smiles and I smile back feeling better already

Soccer is over and I'm mentally feeling better from before but I'm not 100% physically better. Like always Maya made it hell for me but I am slowly adjusting to it
She tried being extra nice with Ryan by saying my first name but she was still rude and Ryan saw right through it
"How was soccer?" Jonah asks me when I get in his car
"Good. I'm tired"
"Oh well go to sleep early tonight. It's going to be a long day tomorrow."
"A long day? Why?"
"Alyssa it's your birthday"
"It is? Oh yeah it is that's cool. So what did you guys get me"
"What do you mean"
"Like for presents what did you buy me"
"Oh um well you'll have to see tomorrow"
"Okay"
We get home and I quickly take a shower so I can go to sleep early for tomorrow.
Now that I know it's my birthday I'm really excited
Alyssa- GUESS WHAT TOMORROW IS
Ryan- Friday?
Alyssa- NO ITS MY BIRTHDAY
Ryan- oh fun
Alyssa- IK SO WHENS YOURS
Ryan- March 1st
Alyssa- oh cool so soon
Ryan- kinda
Alyssa- Yeah well imma go to sleep just thought I'd let you know
Ryan- ok goodnight I'll see you tomorrow
Alyssa- See you
