School is over and now it's time for soccer yay (sarcasm)
The whole day I had to see Cam and Maya together and it was torture. But I did talk to Ryan a lot. He's really nice.
He's in all my classes and we're kinda friends.
"Are you sure you want to go. You don't have to if you don't feel up for it" Jonah tells me as I tie my shoe
"I'll be fine. I promise"
"Okay if you say so. Just if you see them together don't get upset"
"I know. Again I'm going to be fine."
"Well then let's go"
We go in the car and drive to the soccer field
"I might be a little late picking you up I have to bring Daniel to an appointment for his arm."
"That's Fine I'll just stay in the bathroom"
"Okay well have fun"
We pull up to the soccer field and I get out
I walk to where everyone else is and I'm one of the first ones there. Now Maya can't yell at me for being late
"Hey." Morgan says coming up to me
"Hi"
"I'm sorry about what happened. Maya can be a real bitch"
"You don't need to apologize."
"I know I just feel bad."
"Well I'm fine so it's okay"
"Are you sure you're fine"
"Yeah I'm perfect. I don't care a bit" I say with a fake smile
I look past her and see Maya and Cam walking over to where everyone is standing
"So the boys don't have practice today so Cam will be helping us."
"Are you sure you're fine" Morgan whispers
"I'm actually not too sure anymore"

Eventually, everyone arrives and we start practice
"Okay so today we'll be practicing kicking. But first stretching. Marais since you did awful last practice you have to do 10 laps again across the field"
"Of course" I whisper
"What was that" she says
"I said of course I'll start right now" I force a smile and start running

I finally finish my laps and walk over to where everyone else is
"Stretch now" Maya says pointing to the ground
As we're stretching Cam is walking around watching everyone. It makes everything 10 times harder
I try to tune him out by closing my eyes and it works
We finish stretching and Maya gives the orders for this practice
"Okay you'll be in partners and you'll be kicking back and forth to each other. Each time both people will move further away. The partners are Riley and Danielle, Syd and Callie, Maddie and Jordan, Taylor and Bella, Marais and Morgan, and me and Cam let's go" she claps and we all go separate ways
"Well at least you aren't with her" Morgan says
"Yeah at least."
We walk over to a spot and start. However right when we start Cam and Maya stand right next to us
There is so much extra space I don't get why they can't go there
But I mean torture me right
"Just focus on us" Morgan says
"I'll try my hardest"
"You're doing it wrong" Maya says
"Then how do we do it" I say angrily
"Watch your attitude"
"What would you like me to say. May you please tell me how we should kick this fucking soccer ball please. Is that better"
"I said watch your attitude. One more ounce of attitude today and I will kick you off this team do you understand me. Now kick it like you know how to do. I shouldn't have to tell you"
I angrily kick the ball at Morgan
"That's better" Cam says smiling
Why does he have to be so nice. It makes it really hard to hate him which I really need to do
We continue to kick back and forth until we are completely on separate sides of the field. After we get there we practice getting back to where we were at first
We get there and we're done
"Good job" Morgan says putting her hand up to high five me. I give her a tired high five and we sit on the ground
"Okay rest a little and then we'll do a practice game" Cam nicely says
"Well it wasn't so bad" Morgan says
"Yeah it would be a whole lot better if I didn't have to see them together" I point to Maya and Cam who are making out on the grass near us
He puts his hands down her shorts and I force myself to look away
"Don't look at them. It makes it worse"
"This is fucking torture"
"I know I'm sorry"
"I just need one week without them and I'll be good"
"I don't think that's happening anytime soon"
"I know I'm just wishing for the best"
