August 17th, 1979

"This is the LAST one, Paul!" Linda screamed. Paul just sat in the corner, scared to come closer. Linda was in the middle of childbirth, bringing their fifth child into the world. Heather was sixteen, and at home with a nearly eleven year old Mary, Stella, who would be nine soon, and an almost two year old James.

The baby's head was out. Even after helping her through three other births, Paul had to look away. A few minutes later, the doctor pulled their new little girl into the world. She had a head full of dark brown hair and blue eyes.

"What're we going to call her?" Linda inquired.

"Linda Louise. She can go by her middle name. "

Paul held the pen in his hand and wrote Linda Louise McCartney on the paper.

"Hi Lou, I'm your Daddy, and I'm so excited you're here" Paul cooed, like a first time parent. She was swaddled in a yellow blanket, and to Paul and Linda, she couldn't be more perfect.

Skip a few years

The doorbell rang throughout the house. Today was James' tenth birthday party, and Dad had invited some of James' friends, including Dhani and some classmates.

I sat in my room, fiddling with my blanket. I don't wanna go to the party. I don't like James' friends. Dhani says I'm too young to be fun. I'm only a year younger than he is.

"Louise, would you come downstairs now?" My Mom asked.

"Yeah," I replied and trekked down the stairs. I pouted and stomped all the way down. James and Dhani sat at the table, talking about guitars and music. James had a blue hat on his blonde hair, and I picked up a yellow one. I placed it on my brown locks, still grumpy.

Dhani smiled as his Dad hugged him and reminded him to 'behave for Uncle Paul and Aunt Linda'. He sat at our table until Mom brought out some party games, a scavenger hunt, and similar things.

She gave us the first clue, and I took the opportunity to hide in the barn. My foot began to fall asleep on the hay I was hiding in. Then the door creaked. My Dad walked over to the hay and seated himself.

"Lou, we need you to come back to the house." He pleaded.

" No. I don't wanna spend time with James' friends. "I refuted.

"C'mon, doll, your Mother and I are getting the cake out." He shrugged, just hoping cake would entice me enough to leave the barn. I lifted myself and slowly walked back to the house. Curse my love for cake.

When I entered the house, Dad sat me at the table, and I caught a glimpse of what looked to be relief in Dhani's eyes. He has such pretty brown eyes. I have dark blue green eyes with a little ring of brown in the middle. They were the perfect mix of my parent's eyes, I looked like an even mix of them, but Dhani just looks like his dad.

Mum brought the cake out and on the face of it were birthday wishes in plain icing. We sang, James opened gifts. He got a guitar... Wow.

As everyone left, James gave out hugs.

A few years later

Now that all of the Beatle kids are teenagers, we just pick a birthday from Julian's to Sean's and celebrate everyone then. We had a little get together and exchanged gifts, had sweets, all the usual stuff.

I was going to be fourteen in August, Dhani to be fifteen, James, sixteen, Sean would be eighteen. We were really the only ones who actually went to these get togethers every year, as Jules, Mary, Stella, Heather and the Starkeys were adults.
