26 . Nightmare

Manik's pov 

I reached my babygirl's room to witness an extremely adorable scene 

where my babygirl  was cuddling to her favourite pikachu soft toy with her head in ishi ma's lap 

Her sleep filled eyes were trying hard to not get closed while she was complaining about me to ishima cutely 

"You know ishi vali mumma monstu is bad , he said he will come sooner but he didn't. He lied .

That means uski nosieee bhi pinochio jaise lambi ho jaayegi jaise ap bta rhea thea . 

But mujhe to lambi nose vala monstu pasand hi nhi h . I to like him now na. 

Abhi he is very nice just like ash  , Ben -10 & Spider-Man .......

But  he is not ash because he don't have pikachu . Tell him to bring a pikachu . I don't want it......"

"Uffffff babygirl you don't wanna sleep ?" I asked while entering inside the room stopping her blabbering session 

"No meri Gudiya apni ishima se baatein krk apne monstu ka wait kr rhi thi " She said while caressing her hairs 

"Yes monstu ishi vali ma is right ." She said 

"Now I am here so sleep come on " I told her 

"No na monstu I want to listen a song from you then I will sleep pakka . Aayiapa vala Nandu promise "she said cutely making me and ishima completely aww on her 

"Ok done " and with that I made her asleep with my song 

Afterwards she slept I and ishima left her room . 

I was dropping ishima to her room when I saw raj dad , Ayan dad & nyo ma sitting there 

May be discussing something with serious faces 

"What's up peeps ? What are my oldies discussing " I tried to lighten their mood 

"Chup kr oldie hoga tera baap , m to abhi bhi jawan hu , kyu jaan ?" said Ayan dad to ishima 

"Oye m nhi hu ask my darling, Hey darling I am not oldie na ..... wanna see my jawani?" Dad replied making mom blush 

While both mothers twisted my ear 

"Time up guys, it's paining " I  said and they left my ear 

"Now what's the matter " I ask while making myself comfortable in bed 

"Actually Nandini's DNA test won't be possible because  our family doctor is out of India for some international conference " said raj dad

"Are it's ok dad we will do it when day after tomorrow when he will be back " I said 

"He will be back after this month " replied Ayan dad 

"So that means we need to wait more " said ishima sadly 

"It's ok ! We can and we will wait for our princess " said nyo ma 

Ugh that's a problem but I guess we can do this for her . 

Meri babygirl k ayiapa plz be with us and help us 

"It's ok , don't be sad . We will face this together like always " I said while hugging them 

And they too nodded in response 

"So now my oldies , cheer up , do romance but be careful because I don't want siblings " I said and ran from their room In order save myself from the beating 

But with their laughter and that curses I knew their mood was much better than before now 

With this I left to my room which was just next to my babygirl's room for a nice sleep because I am tired as a dog . 

But today I am feeling happy from inside so may be i am gonna have nice sleep too 

And while thinking this I feel asleep into a peaceful slumber which broke at the time of midnight with my babygirl's shouts 

I woke up & thought it might be my dream but when i again heard her screams I ran towards her room only to witness her devastated state . 

She was sweating badly , throwing her head left to right , her touts Lying on the floor 

And she was screaming to leave her .........

I went towards her to make her calm .

While I was trying to waking her up and calming her up everyone came and gathered at her room's enterance 

Mothers started to cry after witnessing her condition & our eyes were wet too 

Don't know what must she had faced 

"Babygirl! Wake up , see it's me your monstu , come on wake up " I once again tried waking her up  & this time I shook her a bit hard 

And she woke up with jerk .

She sat and curled herself swaddling her & murmuring leave me we all tried to talk to her but she was not looking upwards 

"Babygirl! See it's us , your family, your monstu " I cooed her and  at last she looked at me 

And the moment she saw me she jumped into my lap and hugged me really hard 

"Monstu he will punish me , he won't leave me , it will pain monstuuuu" and she started to crying hysterically 

"No one will say anything to my babygirl " I said 

"See here is our family, see ishi ma , Ayan dad , raj dad , nyo ma, your abhi bhaiyu , your cabir bhai " I said 

And she peeped a bit out of my neck had a look at everyone and again hid her face in my neck while sniffing.

Everyone settled on her bed  and started talking randomly 

Sometimes about cartoons, sometimes chocolates, junk food etc etc and she replied while   nodding occasionally.

And then I felt her even breath and signalled everyone that she has slept 

But she was holding me really tight , like I will vanish once she will leave me 

And after this everyone told me sleep with her 

And they all left to their respective rooms 

I adjusted both of us to lay properly while she opened her sleepy eyes and whispered fearfully monstu 

"Hey shhhh babygirl it's ok I am here only , sleep " I said 

And with this we both slept with each other

Life is quite busy + I am unwell too 🤧nowadays 

Even the low response is not motivating me to make time for the updates 

If the response will be low then I will end this story  in just 3-4 chapters . Decision is Upto you especially the silent readers
