It has nearly been a month since I got here. I have been staying at Susan's house. His husband, James has been nothing but nice to me. He welcomed me with open arms.
Since then, nothing bad has ever happened to me. Sometimes I would wonder what my dad must be doing at this moment and his reaction when he found out that I was gone.
I am currently working. Susan wasn't kidding when she said that we have a lot to do.
After some time, I decided to go for my lunch break. "I'll be back, Susan!" I declared.
"Sure, dear. Take your time!" She replied.
After I had had my lunch at a small diner just across the street, I decided to take a stroll in the nearby park. I found a bench and I sat on it and just capture the scene around me. It felt such a long time, when suddenly a stranger asked me, "Is the seat beside you taken?"
He was so good-looking that I forgot to reply to his answer.
"Uh-hum!" He fake coughed.
"Sorry, what were you saying?" I asked embarasingly.
"I asked if the seat beside you is taken?" He asked.
"No no no, not at all!" I said with a smile, "Good," he smiled back.
"So, what are you doing here all alone?" He asked.
"I was just sitting here on a bench at the park," I said lamely.
"Oh, my name is William, if you're wondering," he said to which I replied, "Nice to meet you, William. I'm Tamara."
"I haven't seen you around here before, Tamara!" He smiled.
"Yeah, I just moved here a month ago! I fell in love with this place as soon as I laid my eyes on it!" I said happily.
"As much as I want to know more about you, I have to go! I'll see you around then." He said.
"Yeah, sure. Let's meet up sometime!" But he was already walking towards his car.
