As I entered the cafeteria I'm greeted with the fresh aroma of pizza. My favourite. The cafeteria was already packed. In the middle of looking for my best friend I heard her shout "Lindsayy.... Lindsay over here" I saw her waving. Of course she would do something like this. She knows I don't like attention and yet she's yelling while students try to see who's she looking at.
I sat down opposite her while narrowing my eyes at her. "What? What did I do now!!?" She asked rolling her eyes. "Sweetie you know I dislike attention yet here you are shouting for me across the room" I waved my hand around for more of a dramatic effect. "Anyway forget it I'm gonna get something to eat I'm starving" "Oh and I have a story for you that happened in English"
Leaving my best friend with eager eyes awaiting to hear what I was going to tell her, I turned on my heels heading for something to eat.
'She'll want to rip Brithney's head off' I laughed to myself.
I bought two slices of pizza and an orange juice. Walking back to Alicia I began scrolling on Instagram. Coming across a photo of Zayn, I literally felt butterflies in my stomach. He looks so handsome in his checkered shirt, sleeves rolled up to his elbows showing off his tattoos and that gorgeous smile. I liked the picture and bumped into someone dropping my phone.
"Ow" I said, bending to pick it up. "I'm so sorry" I apologized to the person in front of me. As I looked up I'm greeted by Brithney. I mentally slapped myself for bumping into her out of all people.
"Can you watch where you walk Lindsay" she ordered. Now I'm starting to think she bumped into me on purpose.
"Sorry" I repeated feeling and maybe sounding stupid.
"What you're trying to see if you can 'accidently' bump into the love of your life" she said while laughing. Charlotte being the big idiot she is laughed along. I rolled my eyes.
By now a crowd had gathered taking in the scene before them. Some even taping. Seriously!! It's just a little words we're exchanging here. Why the cameras?
I'm beginning to get irritated. I told this wanna be Rihanna I was sorry, what more does she want? I'm hungry for God's sake.
"Look Brithney, I said I was sorry what more do you want? Do you want me to bow down to you to?" I asked. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm hungry and I would appreciate it if I can eat now".
'Ohhhhhh' the crowd began at my words thrown towards the 'princess'.
"Oh Lin, you better watch how you talk to Brithney" Charlotte pressed.
With my blood boiling and my hunger taking over, I look over at Charlotte. "What would you do Charlotte?" I said sarcastically.
Right then Brithney stood upon one of the tables and asked for everyone's attention. What is she doing now? I mentally rolled my eyes.
