"Hello," I say smiling tiredly as I hold my first born, Tegan in my arms. I glance up and see Travis holding Riley. I know we were talking about different names, but the second Riley was born, I knew.
Katelyn, Garroth, and Andrea went to go eat lunch, they will be back.
"They're so perfect," I whisper as Tegan gently closes her eyes.
I very carefully lay her in the bassinet before heading over to Travis. "You got them, I'm going to go for a walk?" I ask. "Yeah, yeah go." He says.
I'm so thankful, Dr. Jane said that the twins could have to be in the hospital for a long time. They came out ready and willing, we can take them home tomorrow. I'm getting the boys to go home and set up the cribs, we thought we'd have another month.
I'm feeling a little sad from being 'far' from the girls, so I start to head back.
Just an I turn the corner to our room, I see three nurses rush in.
I run into the room seeing them put Riley on ventilation. "What Happened!" I yell to the scared looking Travis. "I- I put down Teagan and in the corner of my eye I saw Riley turning blue." He says painfully.
"Something blocking her airway, we need to get her to surgery." Dr. Jane says before wheeling her out.
"Oh, my Irene," I say.
"Don't Go"
I know this chapter isn't that long and is a cliffhanger, but I've been really stressed and working on another book and this was put on the back burner a bit, this book is ending soon, I know very sad as this book series has been around since 2017 at the least.
