"I am fine," I sighed.
"No, your not not if your still having episodes..." Leanne looked at me sadly,"Anson told me when he walked out that he was going back to bed, and to wake him if we found anything about the next victim. William's working on that though...I should too, but he hasn't had anything to decode yet,"
"Oh, well...I guess I'll go hang out with Sparks or something." I sighed, placing the cup that Leanne was holding onto a cabinet. I walked over to her, leaning against the countertop,"I should talk to William though, maybe you could talk to Anson? " I shook my head and sighed,"I dunno, there's just a list of tension in the house right now, and it's really bugging me," I moved my blonde hair out of me face.
"You really should go talk to Will, I'll talk to Anson and see if he'll open up a bit...just, you know how that bastard is," she laughed,"he's too stubborn for our own good,"
"Watch it," I laughed,"we all know how Will can be such a serious bastard too!"
"Oh shut up!" Leanne laughed, she nudged me gently, and walked over to the steps,"go talk to Will, I'll talk to you later okay?"
"Okay," I smiled at her softly, and then watched her leave the room. I walked off into the living room, moving the book that led to Willians Study.
He sat there typing away on his phone on one hand, and then groaning as he had to backspace something from the computer.
"William?" I peered into the room quietly
"What is it? Can't you see I'm trying to do something here?" Williams voice was stern and filled with pure annoyance. I stepped a bit closer and then stood in front of one of the cushioned chairs,"I was wondering if we could talk..."
He didn't look up from the computer,"about what?"
"About some stuff that's been bothering me around the house lately," I explained briefly, taking in a heavy sigh when he scoffed,"can't we just talk about it later? I'm trying to focus on this and not waste time." I could hear his fingers typing viciously on the keyboard. "Rixton, Rixton what?" He muttered quietly, reading off whoever's name was on his page and then he typed on his phone again.
"No we can't. I want to talk about this right now, so please, talk to me," I rose my voice slightly, and gripped onto the top of the chair. My fingers sank in the padded cushion.
"Then fine, what? What is it?" Will asked, obviously focused on whatever he was typing to figure out... What is it?! Seriously? He's got to be kidding me.
"Shut off the computer,"
"No,"
"I said shut off the computer,"
"Why?"
"Because, I said so,"
"Why Ella?"
"I need you to not be on this while we're talking," I tapped on the top of the computer,"so," I started, looking up at William,"about breakfast....you didn't talk to me," I started.
"I didn't talk to you because I didn't feel like I needed too, what's the point in this Ella?" He rolled his eyes. He tapped his fingers on the keyboard.
"The point in this is that I want to tell you that I'm not happy with what's been going on...like, with Anson hating Sparks, like that's his son, your nephew. Can't you change his mind?" I sighed, sitting back down in the seat I was by,"please, change his mind...my baby needs his father," I sighed
"I can't change his mind, I can only persuade him," William sighed, he ran his hands over the mouse
"Well persuade him! Do something because I can do anything!" I snapped,"get off of the computer and listen to me!"
"I can't get off of the computer I'm looking up information about the next victim." He said,"your just interrupting me, I'm trying to do work here while everyone else is just twiddling their thumbs, waiting for me to get something! And honestly, I'm tired of it. I've always done this for you guys! Your part isn't even hard...all you have to do is go, get them, kill them and bury them! And you have help too! I have to figure out everything and a layout of how we're suppose to do this! You can't do anything without my help. Work or no work Ella," he stood as he spoke,"you've got to start doing shit by yourself or your never going to fix it. This thing between you and Anson, that's not my problem, that is your problem and I can't fix it if he doesn't want too," Will sat down and went back to typing away on his computer. I stood there, with my mouth down to the floor; utterly shocked.
"You...who are you Will?! You never say that kind of shit!" I slammed my hand on his desk. He moved it away in a swift motion.
"I'm William Miller, thank you for reminding me, but I have work to do, unlike you," He scoffed.
"Will! Come on! Can't y-"
"No, I'm not helping you,"
I scoffed at his pettiness, turning my heel and walking out of the room. On my way out, I could hear William scream in frustration and then a loud bang.
His books had fallen once again.
