I set my phone down and start to get ready for the morning, I start cleaning my room. Dusting is tiring as hellll. In the corner of my eye I see my phone light up. 'Just a second' my head tells me as a walk towards my phone.

I grab my bag and walk to Leo's red pickup truck. A smile flashes across his face as I open the door to his car. "Good morning" he beams "good morning" I kiss him on the cheek which makes his face blush a light pink.

"What score did you get on the Science test" Leo asked, Leo wants to become a doctor, but to tell you the honest truth, I can't see him do shit as a doctor. I let out a sigh. "36" Leo gasps. "But... you're so good at it!" I hang my head "yeah but-" Leo cuts me off "it's smoking with your friends in the girls bathrooms that's making you that way" he scolds. He acts like hes my mum.

"Thanks mother" I put emphasis on the word mother as I hop out of his car and onto the concrete, my high top converses skidding on the rough ground as I kiss his shoulder. I grab my bag and meet August by the stairs.

"What do you have in that bigass bag?" I ask as I point to her huge pink sports bag filled to the zipper. She smiles. "Goods". We laugh for a minute. "Nah nah I'm just playing. I have vinyls for your player and some snacks" "sounds good" I reply as the bell rings for first period.

Science class. Great. I make my way into the room when I see Leo and Kevin next to each other. 'Great I don't have a partner'. Naomi aggressively waves at me and slaps the seat next to her, oh how I love her, her parents make good food too.

I take a seat next to Naomi as my teacher rises from his seat. "Psst" Naomi whispers to me. "What?" I answer. "Who's that over there?" She slyly points at Matt Champion, I snatch her hand away. "Shhhhh you're gonna get me jumped" She giggles "sorry" as we quietly laugh.

I start to daydream, thinking of what's gonna happen after I go to University and I get smacked back into reality by the loud bell for second period as Naomi whips me up. "4 more left sister!" I groan as I let her scoop me up from my seat.

English. Leo and... Corinna? Maybe. I make my way to room 130, and a shoulder bumps into me. "HEY!" I yell. No answer. Whatever. I turn the doorknob and sit next to Leo. "Who were u sitting next to last period?" I say as I take out the nail file from my bag. "Kevin. Why?" I knew who he was sitting next to, but the truth is I've always felt off about that group. Except Merlyn. Never hurt Merlyn.

"Don't worry about it" I assure as I write down notes about English. "Who was the guy looking at you last period?" Leo asks, I turn my head around and act confused. "I don't know what you're on about.." "AHEM. Y/N sit at the front please" perfect timing. "Smell you later" I say to Leo as he raises his eyebrow in disgust.

The bell goes and it's time for recess. Thank god. I serve my food and go up to my group. "Heyyyyyy" Corinna beams as she throws her arms around me. We go off about the new gossip at our school right now. "And so I say, why did they put toilets in the juul room?" August jokes and everyone erupts in laughter. I look back at Leo's group, he's with the other boys. I sigh. Naomi laughs and tells the group about Matt and I. "Sooooo when are you gonna make the first move?" Corinna jokes. "ew never!" I blurt. The group mercilessly teases me until we have to go home.

Leo wraps his arm around my shoulders and leads me into his car. The car ride home is silent as I bop my head to Frank Ocean and Alt-J. I kiss Leo and stick my keys in the door to walk up to my room.

I stick a Childish Gambino record in the record player and stare at the wall until I hear my first knock. I walk downstairs and meet Naomi, who always comes at least 30 minutes early. She sets her bag down and pulls out her three vapes. We cheer and dance to The Arctic Monkeys as we slowly run out of juice. "Shitttt" Naomi says as she tries to transfer the juice from the third into the two. Two knocks come from my door. I run down and see August and Corinna.

Corinna pulls out weed and August pulls out the juice and her vape she promised Naomi. "Oh thank god" Naomi bows and prays jokingly as she fills them up. We laugh and tell secrets until 9. I take a long hit from the blunt, suddenly a large thump. 'You're just tripping' my head tells me. I hear it again. And again. "Hey anyone else hear that?" August asks. Corinna nods with me. I pass to Naomi and she takes a hit and then whacks it so the smoke detector won't smell it.

The thump is heard again. "Ok that's it!" August angrily says. She opens the window and a rock whips past her face and hits my rose vase!! "WHAT THE FUCK!" I yell as I try to catch the vase, but it shatters by my feet, cutting my leg. "AYE Y/N ARE YOU OKAY?" Naomi shouts as she rushes to me. Corinna takes a big hit and spits out of the window. The smoke travels to the ceiling as we scream "WHACK IT!" And violently try to whack it out of the air. I run downstairs and guess who I see.
