As a young boy, music became Elvis's overwhelming passion.
He was obsessed with country, pop, Rythem&blues, gospel and more. His passion for music went far beyond listening or simply mimicking.
Although Elvis had no formal music training, he created his own personal version of music theory.
He would simply Analyse music, deconstructing it into component parts to learn how lyrics, instrumentation, timing, vocal inflections and more all fitted together to create different styles.
