I hang up the phone & start walking towards my room.
" Jay is about to stop by here. " I called out from my room
A few minutes passed by and the next thing I know, I hear a knock at the door.
" One of y'all, let Jay in. " I told Jordan & Lyric
Jordan got up & let Jay in. Jay walked in and spoke but Lyric just looked at him, and didn't speak back. He proceeded into my room and closed the door.
" What you close my door for? " I said not looking up from my phone
" I really just want to talk to you babe. Seriously, and I want to apologize for a lot of stuff. " He confessed
I looked up in surprise. Apologize? When has he ever apologized about the wrong he done did?
" Okay, so I know I done been an asshole these past few weeks, but it's only because this baby has been stressing me.. "
I looked at him with a disgusted look on my face, " You been stressing!? What the fuck you mean!? You ain't the one carrying this baby so how the fuck are you stressed? Please let me know " I yelled
" That baby is going to be here in a month or so, I been having to work so much to make sure you had money to pay for everything. " He said reaching into his pocket & pulling out a stack of money & dropping it on the bed next to me.
I couldn't do nothing but drop my mouth. It was nice of him to do this, but that wasn't no excuse for always doing the shit he did to me these past 2 weeks. He had been acting like a little bitch.
" So, along with that money, I owe you an apology. I'm sorry baby. I honestly did not mean to stress you like I been doing. Jordan texted me while I was riding and told me to get over here and fix this shit so I decided to be a man & do just that. " Jeremiah said
He was being so nice right now. Too nice. He hadn't been this nice since before I got pregnant. It felt good to have my baby back on the same page as me.
" Well, thank you. For everything. It means a lot to me to know you really care and can admit your wrong. " I smiled
" Yeah, I'm gone start doing better. " Jeremiah said as he laid down next to me
I wrapped my arms around him and just sat there. Finally. Back to how we used to be.
