Permits needing to get through for her researchers to work on. The renovation and expansion, it was crazy and she didn't know where her head was at. Over seas project, short of funding or missing things, having to few people to work with and so on, it went. She literally had a stack of five folders on her arm, her phone had mostly been tucked between her shoulder and ear all day long. And now Marissa had a freak attack about Lexi letting people in her office.

"I'll be in a sec." she told Marissa when her phone once again rung again on the stack of papers and folders and lifted it up. Shuffling the papers in her arms she tried to answer the phone at the same time as opening the door to her office. With some difficulty she succeeded, thinking it was some of her colleagues Marissa hadn't met, she held up her finger at them without looking as she dropped her stuff on her desk. All the folders and papers crashing on it and she realised how much it had been weighing when it was off of her arm. Before craning her neck and back a little as she felt her back hurting as she talked Spanish on the phone with the Argentina head of the digsite.

"Joaquin No puedo enviar más personas, no tengo ninguna." (Joaquin, I can't send you more people when I haven't got them.) Kate rambled in Spanish, a great thing about travelling was that she learned a few languages along the way. they certainly came of use when she had to talk to foreign countries to get permits and such.

"¿Has intentado llegar a las universidades cercanas?" (Have you asked the nearby universities.) Kate sugggested, rubbing the back of her calf with her other foot, her feet were sore and the pregnancy wasn't helping things either.

"Bueno, hablaré con algunos de ellos. Comenzaré con la universidad de La Pampa, son los más cercanos a ti. Haré algunas otras llamadas a Chile y Colombia también." (I'll make a few calls, start with the university of La Pampa it's closest to you. I'll make a few calls to Chile and colombia as well.) Kate rambled, moving some of her files on her desk and opening a certain folder.

"Llamaré esta noche, les hablaré, intentaré conseguirles siete más, pero no puedo prometer nada, está llegando al final del semestre." (I'll call tonight, reach out to them, I'll try getting you seven more people. But I'm not going to promise anything, it's the nearing the end of the semester.) Kate continued to talk on the phone.

"Bien, te lo haré saber mañana por la mañana." Kate finished as she started to rub the small of her back. (Alright, I'll let you know tomorrow morning.) When she was finished with the countless panic attacks around her, she dropped her phone to her desk, before letting out a tired sigh.

"I apologise for that, now what can I help you with?" she asked at the same time as she turned around and noticed Glen's family standing in front of her as her eyes bulged out of her head.

"Busy sweetheart?" Glen asked her as he walked up to her, he hadn't wanted to walk up to her and stun her when she'd been so busy on the phone. Not that he'd understood a word she'd said, it even stunned him to know she spoke Spanish. His hand resting on the small of her back where he'd seen her rub her back earlier. "Don't know where my head is at to be honest." she admitted with a chuckle and shake of her head as her shoulders dropped a little in relaxation, knowing she didn't have to deal with another group of scientists she needed to find funding for.

When his family had finished greeting her and congratulating them, Lexi walked in her office. "Do you have the permit for Marcus and Glen?" Lexi asked as Kate turned around with a sigh and look in his direction that said, see what I'm talking about. Moving some files she picked up the permit and held it out to Lexi.

"Tell them I want to see them in my office first thing in the morning tomorrow. They got the permit but we still need to put the hazardous lab into action and they can't start without it." Kate warned Lexi as she nodded her head in understanding and Kate started to pull off her lab coat.
