"What do you think?" he asked her as she turned back to him with a smile on her face. "I think you've lost your mind." she told him with an amused tone and shake of her head as she let out another excited chuckle. "My lady." he grinned as they headed towards the balloon. Glen helped her inside as Kate greeted the driver of the balloon as it was just the three of them as the heat of flame made her sweat a little. She wouldn't have needed the jacket after all as the balloon slowly rose from the ground. Glen's arm's wrapped around her middle as they leant against the basket.

"Five and a half years ago now." Glen started as she turned around in his arms with a tilt of her head. "Five and a half years ago you literally fell at my feet." he told her with a serious tone as she let out a small chuckle, remembering her literally tripping over his bag beside him on the beach and she falling over his legs.

"They say that some people are just meant to be a small passage in one's life. Other's are meant to change the course of the other persons life. You are the one person that was meant to change the course of my life. We may have done a bit longer about it but somehow we still found our way to each other again. No matter what other tried, they couldn't keep us apart. And when I got back into your life I discovered that I didn't only have a bright, gorgeous, amazing, sweet, caring, incredible, unique woman to love. But that I had a son with said woman, a bright little boy that could only be our son and I can't thank you enough for all that you sacrificed, what you gave up. I can only apologise for all that I have missed between then and now but I promise you from this day forward I'll make it up to you. I will be by your side through everything that comes our way from now out. No more doing things alone like you've been doing. I want to be at your side and I want you to be by my side." Glen told her as tears filled both of their eyes. "I had planned this before we discovered about the new little one." he told her as he cleared his throat, before turning her around as the balloon was up in the air right now. An orange glow on the horizon as the last rays of sun joined them. "Look down miss." The driver of the balloon told her as she looked to the ground and couldn't help but gasp as tearsz started to roll down her cheeks.

Where they had sat, the table they had eaten dinner at was still surrounded by candles. This time she read the text in them though. "Will you marry me?"

"So will you do me the greatest honour and make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Glen asked her as she turned back to him, tears streaming down her cheeks as she found him bend on one knee in the basket. A box in his hand with a ring in it as he looked up at her with tears in his eyes. What if he was asking her cause she was pregnant again?" she thought to herself.

"I picked the ring three weeks ago before we..." he told her as she nodded her head in understanding as she dropped to her own knees. "Yes." she whispered tearfully. "yes, yes, a thousand times yes." she told him as a grin grew on her face, Glen's face splitting in two with a smile of his own as he crushed his lips against hers.

When they broke apart, panting for breath he pulled the ring out of the box and slid it on her finger. A pink diamond with two white diamonds on either side. And they were huge, they must have cost him a fortune. "It's beautiful." she whispered, looking down at her left ring finger where her engagement ring now rested. "that's what I hoped for." he told her with a chuckle as the balloon took them across the sky, letting them enjoy their moment for a bit longer.

"I knew it the moment I saw the ring in Australia." he told her as he took her hand in his, running his thumb across her hand. "I asked your grandfather last week and yesterday I asked Harry and William." Glen told her as he shivered at the thought of it. They'd certainly put him in the hot seat.

"Oh I would have loved to have seen that." she grinned, thinking of how William and Harry could have made this a living hell for him. And knowing those two they would certainly have enjoyed it all the way through. "They weren't to bad, were they?" she asked him with a chuckle as she dropped her head against his.
