"Need some more practice?" Kate teased James with a chuckle. "Don't think babysitting for a night or a day will prepare me for the real deal, I doubt anything can." James chuckled as Kate nodded her head in agreement.

"You nervous?" Glen asked Kate as they sat in the office of the OB. they were alone and Kate was relieved to have these perks. Certainly when the two of them still hadn't been outed and they wanted to enjoy the first scan together. the last time she'd done all of this alone. "A little." she admitted as she turned her head back at him. "You?" she asked him, resting her hand on his thigh. "Yes." he admitted with a nervous chuckle, he wasn't sure if he was ready for this though. He'd barely gotten to know Arthur and he was five years old, or about to be. Now they were going to have another baby.

"We'll be fine." she whispered, kissing his lips as Andrew walked out of his office and let them in. Ten minutes later she was lying on the table, her stomach uncovered and she'd already started to notice her clothing was a little snug. But she'd noticed why, she had the tiniest bump already and it brought a smile to her face.

"Let's see if we can find the little one." Andrew noted as he squirted the cold gel on her stomach as Kate let out a gasp and Glen took her hand, slung over her head, turning to him she gave him small smile.

"there it is." Andrew said as he pointed at a figure in a black circle. "that's the body, the head, the arms and legs, you can even see the heart beating." he pointed out as tears jumped to her eyes, she felt Glen squeezing her hand as she turned to look at him and found him with a tear rolling down his cheek. "I love you." he whispered, leaning down to kiss her lips, before looking back at the screen with their baby on. "I'd say you're between 7 and 8 weeks, so around Christmas should be your due date." Andrew told them as they let out a chuckle and nod of their heads.

Back in the car, Kate couldn't help but smile, Glen was sat beside her, running his finger over the image of their baby safely inside of her. "What do you want?" he asked her as she shook her head. "Healthy." she told him with a small smile. "You?" she asked him as she steered the car into the street, leading to theirs.

"Healthy, but I've already got two boys, a little girl would be nice." he admitted with a sheepish smile as she nodded her head in understanding. "a little girl to have you wrapped around her little finger you mean?" she elaborated as he let out a chuckle and nodded his head.

"Exactly." he agreed with a big grin on his face, running his finger over the picture again. "You want me to drop you off at home or take the car and drop me off at KP?" Kate asked him as she was about to pass KP. "I'll drop you off, Luke said something about wanting to see something." Glen pointed out as she made way for KP's entrance, the guys at security simply let her through as she kissed Glen goodbye and not to expect her before ten since the women were going to have dinner together.

Once she'd gotten home that evening, her weekend was completely dedicated to Glen's family and going around with them. She gave them a proper tour of the museum and they were amazed by what was behind the walls. On Sunday evening they'd all returned to Ireland, except for Luke, he was going to stay for a week with his dad seeing as he didn't get to spend much time with him and he had a school holiday.

For Kate however, she may not have had to work at the office, but she'd been driving back and forth between her place, KP, Windsor and even Buckingham palace.

"You sure you're going to be okay with Louis?" Catherine asked Glen as they stood in her and Glen's living room. Glen was going to babysit Louis whilst they had their rehearsal for the wedding tomorrow. Glen was going to head to Windsor near the evening with Louis and have a pre wedding dinner with the Royals at Windsor, before going to bed. And then tomorrow would be the big day for all of them. "Aunty, can I ride with you?" Charlotte asked her as she walked up to Kate as she nodded her head with a smile on her face. "I'll be fine Kate, don't worry about it. It'll be a good practice for when the time comes." he noted, knowing Kate had told her best friend, they'd shared everything so much and respected that. "Right." Catherine snickered as Kate rolled her eyes as she threw her a knowing look.
