I kept my face glued to outside the window not daring to say another word. The car finally came to a halt and I rushed down from the car.

The food was nice but the awkward silence that filled the air and the looks people on nearby tables gave us made me finish my food and half of his in a rush. The food was nice too.

"One question," I broke the silence.

He looked up at me, quirking a brow waiting for me to speak.

I gulped and spoke, "why did you agree to take me out when you didn't want to?"

Emotions flashed on his face and he blinked rapidly as if processing my words in his head, "I wasn't forced."

"Okay?" I pushed.

"That doesn't mean that I wanted to either. Just agreed because I owed Paige a favour," he fixed his eyes back on his phone.

"Oh," that was all I could say.

They mean the same to me.

"Are you ready to go now?"

"Yes I am," I nodded, taking my purse from my laps.

He called the waiter and paid. He gave me a scary look when I brought out my card to pay so I retracted. Guess I got a free lunch.

When we got into his car and I noticed that he wasn't driving to the direction of the house I got scared.

"Where are we going to now," I looked at him then back at the road multiple times.

He chuckled and actually smiled. A real smile with his whole teeth in full display. It was the first time I had ever seen him smile like that.

"I'm not going to kill you. If I wanted to I would have done that a long time ago," he finally said after a few seconds, still smiling and he looked my way for a second.

"Okay," I relaxed a bit.

The road started getting lonely and smaller, then it became rocky and he parked at a spot then came out and I followed closely behind him.

There were trees everywhere and we walked through a footpath. The rush of a stream filled the air and it clicked in my head.

He's probably going to kill me and throw my body in the water or he's going to drown me one of the two.

I paused in my track and he noticed turning to look at me.

His eyes questioned my actions and I just stared at him. He gripped my arm and pulled me along with him. When he stopped walking I didn't notice so I bumped into him. My face hit his back, hard.

I held my nose in pain and he stepped to the side to give me a view of what was in front of him.

The rush of the stream was louder and when he stepped aside a stream was in view.

It wasn't exactly large but it wasn't small either. The grass around it was green and it added to the beauty of the place.

I turned to look at him and he was taking off his shirt.

"Hey," I scolded using my hands to cover my eyes, "what are you doing?"

"Going for a swim," he chuckled.

I felt his hands on mine and he shifted my hands from my face but I still kept my eyes closed.

He put his index finger under my chin and lifted it to make me look at him, " open your eyes will you?"

I slowly opened my eyes and a pair of blue eyes were looking at me, amusement filled in them.

"Feel free to join me," with that said he got into the water, swimming slowly.
