"i'll call you right after my show, okay love?" shawn asks through the phone. i could hear the small hint of disappointment in his voice since i told him i couldn't make it to his show in japan. but little does this man know- i'm already here.

"okay, i'll talk to you later. love you" i say, a small squeal almost came out from my mouth due to excitement. i haven't seen this man in months.

"love you more, bye princess. be safe" and with that- the line cut off. i start with a bath then get ready. i call one of shawns friends to come pick me up, while i text shawns management that i will arrive soon.

as i enter the backstage arena, shawns manager and his body guard come up to me- greeting me with a friendly hug. i probably missed them more than i missed shawn. just kidding- i guess.

"you arrived right on time, he's just about to perform his last song" he laughs. he takes me towards the left curtain where some one the sound control people stand.

"okay, whenever you're ready. just go out, okay" he slightly yells, since the crowd is basically screaming out all the lyrics. i nod, my heart pumping so hard- it's almost about to fall out my chest.

he had just finished singing 'when you're ready' he reaches down besides his mic, opening his water bottle filling up his whole mouth. that's when i decided to step on stage. ready to scare and surprise the shit out of him.

everyone snapped their heads towards my direction, and that's when the whole stadium was filled with young teenage girls screaming their lungs out. they decided to chant my name as well.

"are y'all saying y/n? my girlfriend? oh me too, i love her, she couldn't be here tonight- which is really really sad" he pouts. some of the crowd awe's and some are still yelling.

they all point in my direction which makes shawn look my way. his eyes snap open, i could see tears swell up in his eyes. some in mines as well. a small gasp comes from him- and within 3 long and big steps he's already in my arms.

he picks me up from the ground, my legs around his torso as he spins us around. "i missed you so much, you don't understand" he cries.

i lay my feet on the ground, before kissing his lips once. making the crowd louder than is was before. we both giggle before i wipe his loose tear that had fallen from his eye.

"surprise" i say, a small chuckle coming from his lips. he intertwined our hands together before waking us towards the middle of the stage.

"nevermind guys, she's here" the stadium was now filled with gentle laughs from the crowd.

he turns his back towards the people, now his full attention on me. caressing my cheek softly, before placing his lips on mines once more.

"i still can't believe you're here with me, my gosh- i'm so freaking happy" he screams picking me up from the ground, placing my body over his shoulder and running backstage from where i had walked out of.

he finally places me on the ground immediately and gently smashing his lips on mine. the taste of vanilla and strawberry mixed together.

"how did you get here, where you here already when we were on the phone" he asked tilting his head to the side curiously. i nod before laughing.

"what the heck- i should've known. but i'm so freaking happy i can't-

shawn gets cut off by his manager andrew, a slightly annoyed expression is ridden on his face.

"shawn, did you forget you still have a show going on"
