"I'm going to be out late tonight babe, grabbing drinks with people from work," Eric, your boyfriend, said as you put the groceries away while he laid on the couch.

"Is it for Tommy's birthday? That's this week isn't it?" you asked glancing up at him to catch the look on his face. He was caught off guard. "Oh uh, yeah, Tommy's thing," he nodded scratching his nose the way he does when he lies. You sighed quietly, upset with yourself for not caring about his lie. Your relationship had fallen apart, you were hurt by that but didn't have the heart to fight about it. It was too late. Besides all you could think about were Happy's words, him telling you he liked you. It made your heart race in a way that Eric hadn't done in a long time, if he ever had at all.

"I'm heading to the bar early," you spoke but he didn't listen. He just nodded with a quiet disinterested grunt. You headed to your room, and stood in your closet trying to figure out what to wear. You wanted something sexy, you wanted Happy's attention. When you finally decided on what to wear you headed out in the living room to say bye to Eric. He barely even noticed you.

About two hours before closing Happy walked in and sat down at the bar. You flashed a small smile in his direction before grabbing a beer and walking over to him. "Hey, gorgeous," he greeted you as his eyes roamed over your body. Taking all of you in, admiring every inch of you. "You still scared to take me out?" You asked, as you started making a drink for one of the other customers. "You still dating that guy?" He quipped back with a hint of something in his eyes. You couldn't tell what it was, but it put you on edge. "If you have a problem with it, do something about it," you winked and walked away to help another customer.

When you walked back over to Happy, he cleared his throat nervously and downed the rest of his beer quickly. "End it," his raspy voice sent chills through your body. "I'll have to find a new apartment," you tried to remain causal as you wiped the bar down. "You can stay at my place while you look, I'll stay at the clubhouse. I don't want you with anyone else," he told you as you set another beer down in front of him. "It's not that simple, Hap. You don't act like this around your brothers. Either it's real or it isn't happening," you said as you poured yourself a shot. You need a drink, and you needed it now.

"I'm trying to make it real," he snapped his voice becoming hard. "I'm not asking you to hold my hand or give me a ring or whatever is freaking you out, I'm asking for you to just be consistent," you hissed, the frustration starting to bubble up. "The club is different, Y/N, it's more than a family," Happy sighed never looking up from his beer. "Happy, I work in this bar. I see and hear everything. I know the Sons aren't all sunshine and rainbows. I know what they call you, I'm not scared of you," you assured him. "I don't know what you mean, girl," he snarled suddenly becoming defensive. You sighed, you need to get out of your relationship with Eric now. Happy seemed like a way out, like a good way out. "When do you want me to move in?" You asked as you handed him another beer and poured yourself another shot.

"Give me a week to get everything straightened out. What about your little boyfriend?"

"I'll handle that. But no more Cro Eaters, if I'm not with anyone else then neither are you," you told him with a sternness to your voice that you didn't know you had. "I thought you weren't asking for a ring," he huffed, pressing his beer to his lips. "I don't want a ring, I want loyalty," you snapped at him. His phone began to ring and you rolled your eyes at him as he set some cash on the counter and walked to the door with the phone pressed to his ear. "That's rough," Andrea said smugly as she closed the fridge door.

A week later you found yourself standing in your living room taking one last look around. Eric would be home soon and you needed to be long gone by then. You set your key down on a note on the kitchen counter. All the note said was that you were leaving him and he shouldn't try to call you. Not that you thought he would. You walked out and locked the door behind you. Quickly jumping into your car you headed over to Happy's place with your car filled with all of your stuff. He was waiting on the porch, smoking a cigarette.

"Took you long enough, gorgeous," he smirked, flicking the cigarette butt onto the ground and squishing it with his boot. "Had to make you wait a little bit, keeps you on your toes," you said as you grinned up at him. His arm slipped around your waist pulling you up against him. "Don't keep me waiting again, little girl," he growled as his hand slid down to grab your butt. You chuckled and slid out of his grasp, "I've had you waiting for a little bit, you can keep waiting a little longer, now invite me in," you said causing him to groan before opening the door and walking in.

You looked around taking it all in, it was meticulously clean and organized. Much better than living with Eric. "Kitchen, living room, spare bedroom and bathroom. Follow me to the master bedroom," he said with a glint of something in his eyes that made you squirm. "This is an awfully big place for just you," you murmured as you followed him. "I like having space," he shrugged as the two of you entered the bedroom. He spun around quickly lifting you up and pressing you against the wall, with your legs wrapped around him. "There's not a lot of space here," you said, your voice a hoarse whisper as you smiled at him. "Is that what you want?" He asked and you stayed silent, unsure of what you wanted. He nodded before setting you down, "I can help with the bags before I head to the clubhouse if you want," he said as he took a step back.

"I got it, you go ahead and help with the club," you mumbled barely looking at him. "There's a party tomorrow night, you can come if you want. Your key is on the night stand," he walked out of the room. You didn't realize you were holding your breath until the front door shut and you let it out.

"What the fuck am I doing here?"
