"Love to be mysterious don't you." Popo chuckled as Ness stuck his food covered tongue out at her. "EW GROSSSSSSS!!" She screamed making Popo laugh falling back on his chair.

All of them couldn't help but laugh as Popo groaned toon offered him a hand up and the started chatting and joking between each other.

Soon the koopa kids came running down the stairs in a tornado of chaos

Jr besides lugwig as he let out his evil laugh. Morton jr came tumbling down in his angry babble. Roy followed by laughing with him. Larry jumped down two steps at a time. Lemmy came thumping down on his normal star ball with Iggy talking to him bout something nerdy

Wendy walked down last with sass in each step and bowser followed rubbing his head pour man woke up with a horrible headache.

Captain Falcon laughed at the man "the usual?" Bowser nodded going to sit on the couch as the kids ran round the kitchen fighting for items to make breakfast. Ness watched as something strange happened

Every time jr was fighting for something they other would fake loose... strange.

As they sat at the table eating like pigs lugwig noticed ness staring.

"What do you want?" His voice was croaky from the morning that only made it scarier.

Ness gulped guess he wasn't going to put his plan into action, may as well spit it out now.

"Why did you let jr win the milk? Your more then twice his size." Ness was really confused and it made lugwig roll his eyes.

"What got you suddenly so interested in our lives?" He stuffed his face with cereal eating mouth open as nana and the others left the table being grossed out Lucas looked ready to throw up"

"A 'question'." Ness said quiet so no adult would hear using air quotes to imply he was talking bout the ask box.

"and that would be?" Lugwig held interest in his voice.

"Who's bowsers favourite?"

"Jr." lugwig rolled his eyes kicking his feel upon the table

"I figured. but aren't you mad at him for that? Don't you wanna be the favourite? Why is he the air to the throne your the oldest-"

"I'm gonna stop you right there" drinking the rest of his cereal lugwig slammed down the bowl as if it was some kind of shot glass.

"The only reason the pipsqueak is air to the throne is because he shows promise in fire breathing. Something I unfortunately lack. The only reason we aren't at his throat is because dad would kill us first.

Jr was already off running to the couch to sit with his dad. The other now saw it as time to comment.

"Yeah is a total brat!" Larry huffed as he was piling ruppes most likely pick pocketed

"He keeps treating our room like a playground" Iggy groaned.

"And breaks all our stuff!" Lemmy splatted out after.

"He ain't even got an evil laugh" Roy muttered

"Or a good set of fangs" Wendy rolled her eyes.

"He says he's a baby" lugwig translated. "So no. we don't like him. Just as much as we don't like each other."

Getting up from the table lugwig looked at his annoyed sibling "who wants to play 'hide the pikmen in jrs room?" All the sibling came to life and cheered following

At the sound of the koopas running up the stairs jr came running to follow them.

"No daddy's boys allowed" Roy said making sure jr didn't follow by pushing him over and hiding in his shell to spin away.

Sitting on his bit at the bottom of the stairs he sat there trying to to let his toddler emotions get the better of him as players and Pokémon stepped over or around him not caring if the boy was hurt.

Guess jr didn't alway have it easy either.

Ness get up getting a popsicle from the fridge and sat beside him "lemonade or orange?" Ness asked as jr bounced back in shock of someone sitting near him

"What do you want?!" He yelled trying to sound tough blowing smoke out his nose but it really looked pathetic.

"I'm offering you an ice block" ness said holding two out. "Now pick one before I take the one I want"

Jr looked at them before taki g the orange one and sucking on it after a minute Ness asked

"Feeling better?" Jr nodded a little "yea... but why aren't you with your friends?"

"They left a while ago they are probably waiting for me cause I agreed to pay for lunch at the mall."

Jr looked down before softly asking "can I come?" Ness was taken back. He knew the others wouldn't be happy when if he came along but he couldn't leave him here

"Sure. But you have to do as say. No pranks, mean comments or any other funny business" ness said in a rather harsh tone to show he meant it. Jr thought for a moment

"Deal I'll follow your orders and try not break anyone or thing" he smiled up nodding as Ness smile standing up

"Let's go then."

"Ya hoo!" Jr cheered taking ness's hand to hold making sure he didn't get left behind on his stubby koopa legs.

Walking out of the smash mansion they say the others waiting "it's about- what's he doing here!" Popo yelled toon already readying his weapon.

"Relax he's coming with us for the day cause he's got no one to play with" Ness put hands on his hip putting a bit of sass in his tone to make sure he got under everyone's skin.

Jr watched as Ness managed to poke fun at his friends without hurting them or getting hurt. He could get use to this.

"Nooo he will ruin everything" Nana whined and Lucas kinda nodded jr had pulled his fair share of bad pranks on him.

Ness glared "Guess I'm only paying for him then" with a light tug he and jr pushed past them walking off leaving the others stunned

He would leave them for a koopa?

As they walked down the street jr couldn't help but open his mouth "that was super cool of you! But won't they be mad?" Jr didn't ask for feeling guilty he asked cause if he pissed his sibling off it would lead to him in a fight and he didn't want that for his new...

That title felt nice.

"I hang with them all everyday. I think I can spend at least one weekend with you." Slipping his free hand in his pocket the two walked down to mall.

The day was filled with Bowser Jr whining, complaining and talking. Ness was getting a bad head ach but the smile on the little koopas face as the two walked back with ice creams jr carrying a little figure of bowser in his other arm ness honestly wouldn't trade for the world.

In all honesty reminded him of his little sister who would skip about every time they got ice cream.

Once the reached the door jr looked at him wiping his ice cream covered face on his bandanna "don't tell anyone o said that."

With that he ran inside calling for his father who was still on the lounge.

Ness wasn't sure what jr was talking about but smiled walking in he looked over to bowser and that koopa kids who stared wide eye and jrs new toy.

With a smile Ness walked upstairs and into his room sitting st his laptop

'I'm not sure. I tried asking but they wouldn't tell me. Guess it's a koopa secret'

Ness thought it wasn't time for the world to know the secrets the koopas held.
