This is Dr. Emily Rosonburg, November 12, 2019, 18:00 hours. I had a patient come in today describing symptoms of nausea, diarrhea, mild depression, and a rash appearing on his left forearm. I suggested to him some OTC Bismuth Subsalicylate (a.k.a Pepto-Bismol) for his nausea and diarrhea, a short, weekly talk therapy for his mild depression, and OTC hydrocortisone cream for the rash. I believe he may be suffering from moderate stress levels causing him to feel stomach issues, depression, and maybe a rash from eating something he's possibly allergic to. Hopefully, he won't have to come back in two weeks. If he does, then it may be something serious, but we will have to wait and see. I've already had three or four patients with the same symptoms.

Next week is the monthly staff meeting here at Ember Glowes Medical Center. The main doctor wants to hear from the staff to see what we could possibly improve on, such as more MAs or address certain people, reports on any sort of harassment, stuff like that. I think we're doing fairly well. Morale is high, we've had many patients thank us and recommend us. All in all, good things.

One thing I am worried about though is Victoria, our receptionist. She's been getting very nosy lately and we've had to put her in her place more than once. She seems to think that the more she pries about a certain person's medical file, she'll get it in her hands. Honestly, if it was up to me, I would have fired her a while ago because of it. I'm getting into work drama, back to my real work.

I've been working on a project for my boss Doctor Leos. My job is to find out why the recent flu vaccine isn't working. I mean for God's sake, it's a virus, after all, it will mutate. I believe we should study it and update the vaccine. Problem is like I said, it is a virus. So we need to find another approach to the vaccine update. What that approach is, I'm not sure yet. My newest assistant, Benny, is actually doing his job and helping find ways we can do this. We haven't found anything yet, but I have faith in this project.

Well, so far that is all I need to say for today. I'll be thinking of ideas for the project and then going to bed. Dr. Emily Rosonburg signing off for the night.
