"Nani the Fu-" A BTS Eighth Member Fanfiction

"Excuse me, Bang Si-Hyuk wanted to see you" an employee popped her head into the lonely practice room. "Oh, thank you!" you replied, packing up your small bag.

As you walked through the company halls, only one thought filled your mind. Guess they're finally kicking me out. It had been a few months since the whole 'GLAM' controversy. All the female trainees were moved to other companies, all except for you. (Okay this is assuming that all the female trainees were moved in 2014)

You knocked, opening the door after hearing a confirmation. Walking in, you sat down in the chair in front of the CEO of Bighit, already knowing what was going to happen next. "Park Chaeryeong, we found you a-" you cut him off. "A new company?" He gave a light laugh, "no of course not, unless you want us too." He stared at you intently, you shook your head, implying that you didn't want to move. "We found you a group."

Those five words confused her. There were no more female trainees left and you weren't supposed to debut solo. "What do you mean?" You asked. Bang Si-Hyuk began explaining, "You know BTS right? The group that debuted last year?" You nodded.

"They were looking for an eighth member, originally for their debut, but we ran out of time to find someone. So, we wanted to ask you if you were okay with joining the group." You froze, thoughts racing through your mind. Join a group of 7 boys? Live with them? Are they perverts? Are they gonna hate me? You thought. You know what, fuck it.

"Sure, I'm okay with that."

Everyone was sitting on the couch of the dorm, watching some drama, when the front door creaked open. The familiar face of one of the female staff at BigHit peeked in. She walked in grabbing our attention, " Chaeryeong just got here. Don't be rude!" She scolded the boys for a bit more before you stumbled in.

"Ah hello! My name is Park Chaeryeong!"

-Skipping the inevitable awkward moment where everyone has to get used to eachhother-

The comeback/debut for school luv affair was set up so that all the teaser photos of the boys were sent out first, along with teasers of the group excluding you . You were set up to be the 'love interest' but was still found in a few of the group dance scenes and sang part of the chorus. By the time the music video and album came out, you still weren't  announced as a member and no concept photos came out. Bighit wanted to play around with the fans a bit more, so they literally handed you the Twitter account and said 'go crazy'. You tweeted a picture of yourself and comments came in like a flood.

-like a day later-

The boys decided to do a group Vlive, well other than you of course. You still weren't released to the public, although those tweets of yours caused some  disturbance, people passed it off as if the account was hacked.

"Hellooooo" Taehyung said as everyone huddled on the floor around the phone. Viewers swarmed in, saying hi to the group. Some asked questions about the comeback, others asking if the twitter thing was cleared. They all answered questions, avoiding the ones about the 'hacking'. At some point, they gave in. "what happened on twitter?" Hoseok read out.

"Uhhh SMOL BEAN COME HERE" Jin yelled out. Instantly, you came running in, visible to the camera. "Did you post the pictures yet?" he whispered into your ear, your eyes widening as you remembered. "NANI THE FU-" you ran off back into your room before you could finish swearing.

A few minutes later, you came back with a triumphant smirk. All the member's phones buzzed with a notification. "I did it." you said, sitting down next Jin. "ALSO I WASN'T A HACKER."

"Well. This is our new member, Park Chaeryeong, or Nani"
