💚Rider x Octoling!Reader!🐙

You were the first octoling to escaped from the deepsea metro. You climbed up the stairs to the promised land, and were blown away. Inklings and jellyfish were chatting, taking pictures and just having fun. You walked around and inklings were looking at you strangely. They were whispering about you and you started to walk faster. Eventually the voices got louder and you were afraid so you started running and unfortunately tripped on a rock.

"Are you ok?" Said an inkling. You looked up and seen him. He was wearing a black inky rider, octoling boots, and fake contacts.

"Yeah, I think so..." You said nervously. This inkling looked scary to you.
"Here, let me help you up." He held his hand out for you as you hesitantly took it. He showed a small smile to you and led you to a bench and sat to talk with you, wanting to learn more about you.

"So, what's it like being an octoling?" Said Rider
"Well it's not bad... it's just... when people look at you like you a freak... it hurts..." You said, tearing up a bit.
"Hey hey hey... don't cry, it's ok" He said as he touched your cheek with his thumb
"Come with me" He grabbed you hand gently and led you to a beautiful meadow and laid down with you
"I come here to clear my thoughts sometimes... it helps so maybe it will help you to" He said looking up at the blue sky
You two stayed silent for a little bit, just clearing your minds. You then looked over at Rider with curiosity

"You know, you never told me your name"
"Oh sorry! My name is Rider. What's yours?"
"Y/N"
"Cute name" he said. As soon as he said that he covered his mouth in embarrassment and cursed under his breath
You giggled and removed his hands to kiss him. He was reluctant and surprised at first but he melted into the kiss
"Y/N... that was..."
"Don't worry, I know what your trying to say" you smiled and layed your head on his stomach as he played with your tentacles
