Part 3 - Spiderman Homecoming/Black Panther - Prelude

Start from the beginning

Quickly slipping off his lap, I grab my suitcase and open my door. I turn around to say goodbye to see Peter standing right behind me, making me smile.

"Stay safe." he whispers.

"I promise." I whisper in return.

"You never say that." he comments in confusion.

"Well, I gotta be alive to kiss you again." I say with a smirk. Peter laughs at the comment and wraps me in a hug.

"Damn right you do." he whispers in my ear before kissing my cheek and letting me go.

I easily pick up my suitcase and walk down the hallway to the elevator leading to the ground floor. Once I had the suitcase settled beside me, I looked back into my room to see a blushing Peter waving goodbye. I repeat the action before the elevator doors closed. Walking out of the metal box and through the large lobby with my luggage, I see a large black SUV parked outside the main doors. But, of course, there is a crowd of paparazzi with it.  Quickly grabbing my aviators from the small bag attached my luggage and putting them on my face, I walk into the crowd.

As usual, thousands of questions are thrown at me that I have no intention of answering. Two large bodyguards, obviously Wakandan, step outside the SUV and escort me the rest of the way to the vehicle. I quickly buckle myself into a seat and the car drives away from the crowd.

-----------------------------

After the short car ride, I was escorted onto a high tech jet that instantly gave me a headache as soon as I boarded it. The entire jet was surrounded by vibranium and was made of vibranium. Thankfully, Dad's implant stopped the impending attack but the pain was there nevertheless.

In a few hours, we had entered Wakanda. I shakily stood up and walked over to the pilot's seat. Grasping onto a nearby wall, I look through the windshield at the beautiful horizon in front of us.

"Prince T'Challa was right, you are a fighter." A female guard dressed in red and silver comments with a smirk.

"Is that good or bad?" I ask weakly.

"Depends on who you ask. But with the Dora Milaje, a fighter is always good." She replies.

Weakly smiling, I watch as we land gracefully by what I assume is the palace. The guard offers her arm but I refuse it and she nods her head as I walk off the jet.

As properly as I could through the pain, I walk over to the Queen and Princess. Then, I stand a few feet away from then and bow my head low in respect.

"U-Queen Ramonda. Princess Shuri. Kuzuko ukudibana nawe. Ndiyabonga ngokuba undimema kwiCoronation ye-Prince kwaye ndiyaxolisa ngokulahlekelwa kwakho." I say.  (Queen Ramonda. Princess Shuri. It is an honour to meet you. Thank you for inviting me to the Coronation of the Prince and I apologize for your loss.)

"It is an honour to meet you, Ms.Stark." Queen Romonda says. "We are grateful for you keeping T'Challa safe during everything that happened in Vienna."

"Thank you, your majesty. It was really no problem." I reply with a smile.

"Have you met my brother? It's easier to saddle train a young rhino then to keep my brother safe." Princess Shuri comments, earning a glare from her mother.

"Please just call me Romonda." she says while holding my hand in between her two.

"And call me Shuri." she says while stepping forward. "Brother told me about your issues with vibranium and how severe your reaction can be. So I made up a serum that takes most of the pain away so that you can function."

"Thank you, Shuri." I say while she injects the serum.

I sigh in relief, the pain from before disappearing from my body, and just in time. Another jet lands behind me and Shuri drags me beside her with a large smile on her face, making me laugh.

Once the plane stabilized on the ground T'Challa, a Dora Milajae in red and gold armour, and another young woman exit the aircraft.

"Erin! I'm so glad you could make it!" T'Challa exclaims while wrapping his arms around me and I return the gesture.

"I'm honoured you invited me, T'Challa." I reply honestly.

"Nonsense, my sister. It's an honour to have you here and a part of the celebration." T'Challa says with a smile.

The younger woman exchanges a few words to the Queen and Shuri. But when she turns to me, it's like she doesn't know what to say. Thankfully, T'Challa steps in and asks Shuri to get me ready for the ceremony.

As we walk away, Shuri raises her arm up and flips her brother off, earning a scolding tone from her mother. We both quietly giggle as we walk into the palace, despite Shuri's half-assed apology.
