Precious, also known as Prey, Montes is an orphan. At a young age ay maaga itong naulila. She was barely 16 when her parents perished in an accident. Because she is a minor, she needs a guardian. Her known relatives are fighting to be her guardian. Prey knows little about these people and vice versa, she's wondering bakit sila nagaaway away sa pagiging guardian nito? Nakikita niya lang at nakakausap ang mga ito kapag nagpupunta sila sa kanilang bahay at nanghihingi ng tulong o pera sa kaniyang mga magulang. Madalas pa ay umaalis na galit ang mga ito noong mga huling punta nila sa hindi niya alam na dahilan. Nevertheless, her mother taught her that family is family.
