Chapter 19 (The ending)

7 years later...

Me and Oliver have been together now for 7 years, ever since the first kiss I knew me and him were meant to last.

A lot has happened over 7 years

Oliver and his father have made up
*Flashback*

Me and Oliver were laying down in my bed cuddled up watching Terminator 3 when he received a call.

I looked up at him and his face was pale as he looked at the screen

"Hey what's wrong" I say sitting up

He shows me the screen and it says dad I looked at him

"Are you gonna answer" I asked touching his shoulder sincerely.

He sat up and gulped and answered the phone putting it on speaker.

"Hello Oliver.. Oliver" Oliver's dad said

Oliver just stared at the screen not knowing what to say

"Hello" I said to him

"Hello is this Oliver"

"Yes this is his girlfriend Delilah"

"The girl that was over my house that day?"

"Yes" I said folding my arms

"Well good thing you're with him since this is about you" he clears his throat "Oliver Delilah I'm so sorry for how I treated you both at the house the other day I was out of line I should've never said those types of things to you Delilah and I'm sorry that I had that kind of mindset. I was raised to not really appreciate African Americans and as people say racism is taught most of the time like my case. I'm so sorry I should've learnt that that was not the way and I should never treat anybody like that as I got older. And Oliver I'm so so very sorry to you son I did a dumbass thing like kick my own family out of the house because you wanted to be with someone that made you happy. And I'm also so sorry that I wasn't there for you I've been so absent in your life ever since your mother and then i came with this very ugly attitude towards Delilah. I am so sorry I treated you both that way and I hope over time you can forgive me but just to let you know my doors are open and you can come back home" then there was a beep

After a few weeks of talking it out with everyone we decided that we forgive him. Yes I'm a forgive person but I will never forget. Oliver and his sibling went back home and I was free to go over there any time I wanted to.
