Artemis POV

What would you do if a ball suddenly hurl over to you out of nowhere when you are having your favorite lunch?

And you are taking your peaceful nap then suddenly someone comes over and tells you that you flunked your exams?

Or worse what if someone tells you that you are a mother of a child you didn't conceive?

Everything sounds ridiculous. How can I be the mother of Percy Jackson's child?

I am Artemis. Males are afraid to go near me because they know I scorn them. What would happen to my reputation once they find out I have a daughter with a boy? No, a man. There are no evidence that she shares my blood except to the one she did before. Apparently, that was a concrete one that can convince us, even me that she's my daughter. Because if she's not, how can she do that?

There wasn't a loophole, just missing details mainly because she still wasn't done talking and we're already overreacting.

Poseidon cleared his throat that made Athena stop from mumbling her jargons. "I think we should listen first. How can we know what happens if we doesn't let her explain everything? It's better to listen in a civilized manner."

"A civilized manner," Apollo repeated, straightening his back and sitting properly. We all know it was a common joke but the rest of the council imitated his actions.

Hestia seems satisfied. Turning our attention back to my laughing 'daughter', Lisa seems entertained at our actions and we couldn't help but blush since she just saw how we treat each other every day. Too much for being proud and mighty, huh?

Once Lisa noticed our stares, "No need to act properly. Dad told me about it already, so no biggie!"

"What did he say?" Hera's question sounds like she wanted to know Percy's perspective of how we act and I'm surprised that there wasn't any suspicion implied that she doubt his words.

"You aren't really the usual mighty blah blah blah and you're like the We-Bare-Bears except none of you are social media fanatic like Panda. But still you all look squishy," Lisa replied adorably and I couldn't help but love the idea of her being my daughter. She inherited her father's humor and my wit.

"Did he say anything bad against us?" Aphrodite voiced out Ares' thoughts.

"Children don't lie, right?" She retorted, earning smiles from us. "Besides knowing my father, I don't really think he can bad-mouth everybody. He is just waaay too sassy."

Knowing Perseus, his sassiness is on a complete level. The best one to annoy any immortal.

"Anyway, my granddaughter can you please provide more proof or anything that will seal the fact that you really are the daughter of Artemis?" Father was struggling to ask her kindly. He may have changed for the past seven years but gentleness is not a word to be associated with him.

Lisa nodded, pulling the zipper of her backpack and taking something from it. On a closer look it was a drachma with an inscription of Percy's full name in Ancient Greece. "Daddy also predicted that you wouldn't believe me easily so he wanted you to watch this."

She tossed the drachma over to Zeus and used her both hands to cover her ears.

"Why are you covering your ears, my dear?" Hestia walked up to her and pulled her to her throne. She asked for Lisa to remove her hands from her ears.

"Papa told me that the video is just for adults and it's not suitable for cute kids like me," Lisa pouted and returned her chubby hands back.

She is very obedient to Perseus as I am also like that to Zeus.
