I love the sea, the rhythmic sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the scent of the wild flowers on the breeze, the taste of salt in the air, the feeling of the sun on my face and the warm sand between my toes. And of course the memories, memories of me and my family taking trips to the beach, we would play games and laugh. However that is before. Before that ill-fated trip to the mountains, before Mother and I got sick, before Mother died and I didn't. I lived, but at a price.
