I found Lin-Manuel Miranda's contact info on his website. I sent him (or someone else I dunno) the following email.
I have no idea if this goes to you or if someone else sees this and I'm looking like a total idiot writing this, but,
Dear Mr. Miranda,
I have a few questions that have been bothering me the past couple of weeks. I am aware that your play, 'Hamilton,' has/did have a very large fan base. Are you aware of this? And if you are, did you watch any of the animatics or covers of the songs from 'Hamilton' on YouTube? Did you read any of the fan fictions? Did you like them? I have also been wondering about what the first steps I should take if I want to make it on Broadway. I am still in eighth grade, so I have a lot of time, but I want to start thinking about this early.
Thank you for answering these questions in advance (if you answer them, of course. I'm not trying to pressure you) and I absolutely love 'Hamilton' and 'In The Heights.' I'm also so excited to see Mary Poppins Returns!
