"Do you have the room key?" She asked me as we reached the elevators.

"We don't need it," I told her as we walked into the elevator with the bellhop. Tia gave me a confused look but said nothing.

"Good afternoon Mr. Dellucci." The young bellhop greeted me before turning to Tia. "Mr. Dellucci's..." He trailed off looking at me for the right title to give Tia.

"Girlfriend," I smirked.

"Right... Good afternoon ma'am." He smiled politely at her before pressing the button for the penthouse. Not that Tia noticed. When the bell on the elevator dinged, and we stepped out, Tia's mouth dropped in awe.

"This is amazing Jay." She said setting the food down on the coffee table.

"You should see my parents' house," I told her, setting Aiden on the couch.

"You still live with your parents?" Tia asked.

"Yeah. I've only been back in New York for a year." I shrugged, "Plus I don't need a big house to live in by myself."

"True." Tia nodded.

"So should we talk now or should we eat first?" I asked nervously.

"Let's talk now, before Aiden wakes up." She said, looking at the small boy on the couch who was sleeping peacefully.

I just nodded and grabbed our food and led her to my bedroom. She looked at the room in awe. I sat on the bed and patted the spot next to me. She looked at me sheepishly before sitting down next to me and taking a sip of her drink.

"So..."

"So..."

We both spoke at the same time. "You first." Tia said looking at the bed and picking at the bed spread.

I thought for a moment of the question I wanted to ask the most. "When did you find out you were pregnant?"

"I suspected for a little while after you left for college, but it wasn't confirmed till a few months later." She answered.

"Were there any complications?" I asked.

"Not really. I craved a lot of chipotle though." She smiled.

I smiled back at her. "Don't put that on the kid Bambina." I laughed a little. "What made you not tell me?"

"It wasn't the easiest decision," she started. "I was contemplating telling you, but then I got scared."

"Why would you be scared?" I tilted my head to the side before grabbing her hand because her playing with the bedspread was making me nervous.

"I mean you had just started college, and I was still in high school... And we were really young then Jason... I just" I didn't give her a chance to finish her sentence because something in my brain clicked.

"Were you scared that I would deny him?" I asked, trying to keep my anger down.

"No I... I was scared that you would just run away from it, I guess." She said softly, looking down in shame.

"You thought that of me?" I asked, my voice rising.

"I... Didn't but,-"

"All that shit about not holding me back was a bunch of bull." I said standing.

"No!" She said standing on her knees in the bed, reaching for me, but I snatched back.

"Have you lost your fucking mind?! I missed out on five years of my son's life because you thought I would abandon you." I yelled, beyond pissed.

"Jay calm down. You're going to wake him up." She laid her hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down, but it only made me angrier.

I turned and grabbed her face with my thumb and index finger to make her look me in the eyes. "Maybe I should just take him." I growled.

Her eyes grew wide with fear and her bottom lip started to tremble while tears fell from her eyes. "No!" She cries in fear. "Please don't take him from me Jay!"

"Why shouldn't I." I laughed humorlessly at her with a maniacal smile on my face. "It's only fair Bambina, seeing as you got him all to yourself for five years that I should get the same.

"Please." She begged practically sobbing at the thought, "I'll do anything, please don't take him from me Jay."

As soon as the words left her mouth an idea clicked in my head. "Anything you say." I drawled, looking down at her.

"Anything." She promised.

"Well then I know exactly what I want from you Bambina." I smirked at her.

"What is it?" She asked.

"We're getting married."
