The next morning, when Alex woke up in Zach's bed, have returned from their date quite late at night, she was alone. It was ten in the morning, a time which Alex hadn't slept up until for a while.
Alex got up, changing out of her sweatpants and hoodie into a pair of black ripped jean shorts and a black and white striped tube top. She did her hair and pulled a hoodie on before going downstairs, and almost immediately got grabbed by Reese, who pulled her over to the couch.
"Zachy said that you're his girlfriend." She said, and Alex blushed, giving Reese the answer she was looking for.
"How do you know that?" Alex asked, as she watched a smile grow on the young girl's face.
"Zach came down looking very happy and mom asked him why he was smiling so much." Reese said. "He's in the kitchen, by the way."
Thanking her, Alex got up off the couch, and made her way to the kitchen, one of the places she had become very acquainted with - her and Zach having spent a couple of hours hanging out in.
She walked in a saw Zach stood at the dishwasher, putting dirty dishes in. Creeping up behind him, she placed her hands over his eyes, at first making him jump, then a smile grew on his face.
"Guess who." Alex said, giggling - even though it was super obvious that it was her.
"Hmmm let me think - oh wait is it Alex?" Zach said, placing the dish he was holding down and spinning around, placing his hands around her waist.
"You're pretty smart for a high school dropout." Alex sighed, and Zach rolled his eyes, looking down at his girlfriend.
"And you are pretty close from skipping school." Zach said, referring to the message Alex's mom had sent her last night, telling her that she needed to do more work. This was because whilst in Dallas, Alex hadn't done any work whatsoever, and her mom, being the woman that she is, was extremely mad at Alex for this.
"Oh well.. whatever." Alex replied, making Zach smiles and pull her close, kissing the top of her head.
